i have purchase a smart phone from lazada dec27 but at the end cancel because of missing. may i know how many of you guys have dealing with LAZADA before? i am really disapointed with them

Try and error, if its cheap and they willing to settle in case of missing/lost, I don't mind take risk and waste time for refund.

usually i only buy from 4 star local and above dealer,other than that its like a gamble,

bought 1 cheap mechanical keyboard from lazada end up they give me refurbished unit

and it took 3 weeks to get it (local dealer)

some rules that i would do before purchasing on lazada (in fact, on many other sites too) :
1. check the seller if they are reputable or not. the rating isn't always reliable because if only one person rate 5 star, then that seller will be a 5 star seller, even if he has bad reputation
2. only buy items with immediate stock and not with "shipped from other country" tags
3. always, always do COD
4. if it's the price is too good to be true, it probably is. best to check on other sites to see if anyone else is selling at the same price. if not, then it could be fake or scam and not worth risking

want to ask ur opinion, i recently check 1 phone-lenovo vibe p1 turbo, market price rm1,099 and normally sales price range from 850-900(lelong,lazada),and now i found rm799.the seller is 4star local seller from lazada, if u are me, will u go for it?

i always buy from LAZADA. latest is iPhone 7. i only buy from LAZADA as seller. not any third party company even rated as 5 star.

So it's skynet's fault. U buy from reputable lazada seller also they might ship using skynet. Haihh skynet got so many bad reviews.

bought xaiomi redmi note 3 from xiaomi official in lazada. 1st one, chrger problem then need to return all.then refund and buy again. I think depends on luck also.my friend bought washing machine, tv and ps4 before.no problem. most important need to pick good seller. for hp, if too cheap, maybe import set. plus, in lazada, can use voucher and more discount

I had the same experience like u. Bought a xiaomi phone from lazada supposed to be sent by ninja van waited more than a week but later the courier stated the item is missing. Good thing i didnt pay as it was on cod. Later i bought another phone.

All the lies of online shopping. I have bought alot of things even my samsung note 8 I bought online.

Most online platform have money back guarantee if the sale fails but if you buy from a reliable source con cases are at its most minimum.

3 years I bought more than 100 items from Lazada, 11streets, qoo10, shopee

The rate of failure is about 4 out of 100 and all I got my money back.

Snapdragon 625 we don't consider it as high spec. iPhone is about stability if compare gaming on iPhone Vs A1 your A1 will lose by 10 streets.

This I quite disagree.the key guide to follow is to buy from a reliable seller then look at the price not price first then only look for reliable seller.

The price buy from Telco Vs online the price gap is huge. Example my Samsung note 8

I bought my note 8 for rm3159
With Telco you will get about this price but you are bind with 2 years contract.

When you shop online responsibility does not lie between you and seller but the middle man = online platform. For any unsatisfactory you can request a refund or return.

Last year I bought total of 3 Samsung note 8. All got delivered.

I did exprienced it where the items are sold by LAZADA itself. The seller will be penalty if items are missing or out of stock.Try to contact LAZADA through live chat which you will get faster respond for the reason why your smart phone is missing.I also prefer not to buy on LAZADA as most of the smart phones on LAZADA are imported from oversea and warranty by themself.Buy it from some telecom like Celcom with easyphone promo la.

I think for all online shopping, it depends whether the seller have good reputation or not.

buying from lazada , if u non-happy , just hit the button of RETURN ORDER , print it and drop to nearest Pos Office without need to pay any single money


i bought wireless barcode scanner from oversea thru lazada RM87.25 , after use of half day it make problem to me , can't scan anymore , hit the button RETURN ORDER , PRINT , Attach with original box , put in flyer and return it back , wait patiently within 3 week for lazada investigate and they will refund back FULL MONEY to your bank account (surprise that i get my refund back within 2 week )


So what make i think buying from lazada is safe because u have 7-14 day return policy , received fake item , damage item ,just return it


While other plateform which u need to deal ur RETURN ORDER with Seller , if seller choose not to respon ur msg , don wan accept ur refund , then u no choice have to eat the die cat , lazada u no need return thru seller , because everything is under lazada warehouse control

In term of service, I vote for Lazada although their logistic partners can be some kind a pain in ass (not always , anyway).

You should try all the e-commerce platforms to find which suit you better. Other people opinions may can be biased/not your cup of tea. And, monopoly isn't good for consumers like us

Tips :Read carefully all the wordings in the seller page, do comparison on other e-commerce platforms, see the review and ratings from verified customers, google the store name (optional), 'like' and 'follow' the e-commerce site FB page.

And the guts and willingness to take a risk .

i got went to blue cube and ask the price of ip X then i knew that i can't buy the plan with device protection bcoz i use their telco less than 1 year..so i gave u pto buy it

some is telco set , beware your sim maybe can be lock

some is pre register set, so your hp is less than 12month warranty , some even tingal 6month

some is demo set sell as new ,

basicly u need luck buy ONLINE

My main concern with buying phone online is shipment. Especially when phones now can easily cost more than RM2K.

When I bought my phone at Lazada around two years ago, there was option for COD. This is safe option just in case the phone is lost/damaged during shipment. Unfortunately, not all seller offer this option.

That so 2014 thing.

it's so safe to buy online compared to old school , last time people scare is because u have to BANK IN to seller first , if anything happen seller will ignore you

because they never try online experience , or they get fool by the merchant before they doing homework , that why nowaday online plateform with 14 day return policy is a safe because u don't like or the item isn't original , u can just hit REFUND , the money on the plateform will return back to your account once ur item is ship back to merchant


Those who Don believe? u just go lazada , simple find a cheap2 item , buy it , after received try to do return/refund

but you need to becareful of shopee. Shopee priority seller than buyer while lazada priority buyer than seller.

I know i bought alot of things from lazada, qoo10, 11street,shopee and etc. I just bought Logitech Z906 also arrived in 1 day. Setup and i am blasting it now. If i would have bought from store no discount or very little discount then i need carry myself from shop to car > car to home. Now i just come back its in my house.

I agree they didnt do their homework even many official stores are already on lazada even directD (Wowphone), 1satudgaget and etc are already setup there with a different name .

Yup , for shopee , u need to buy from MALL rather than HOME or some item that shopee have state with the term 14 day return policy , because shopee have 2 type of Shop which like Taobao vs T-mall

For return policy , lazada did more good job as who ever also can return back the item if it's fault and not as advertisement , even oversea can be return just 1 click


as for shopee , if the item isn't include the 7-14 day return policy , then it's really depend on the merchant wanna do full refund to you or not , but return postage have to bear by buyer , sometime u request for refund , the merchant just ignore u and u can do nothing

In my opinion , if i wanna buy expensive stuff that over few k , i would choose lazada or Shopee with 7-14 day return policy , without return policy i won't buy such expensive item over NET unless the selling like DirectD who have really high rating in e-com

Price on Lazada is unbeatable.

If you can't afford isn't it better you collect enough then buy. What the rush? Installment you still need pay more and bind by contract for 2 years and you need force the extra usage to meet the plan. End up you pay more for the phone.

All my phones s8+ and note 8 all pay cash.

Have bought 5 phones over the years and never have any problem and saving can be significant. But then I always use common sense and check the seller's reputation etc.

If one listen to you then this happen how? Will you be sponsoring the replacement

I bought new phone from Lazada. In the end, it is a second hand devices as I saw there are quite a few unknown China number in my phone. Never again I will buy phone in lazada

Lazada is not a seller but act as a middle man a platform for your transaction.

So by blaming Lazada it reflects its your fault because buying online and buying in the real world is the same. You need to do your research before buying if you buy from the most cheapest seller then blame on the platform its your fault. Why didn't you buy from official seller?
