Is your disc scratched?
If it is, you can use toothpaste or hairgel/wax to fix it.
That's how I fixed my Oblivion disc. 

According to Google, DRE is a common problem among 360 users.
From what I see it's more like a pattern than coincidence.

Been using my 360 over 8 months already and so far i've only experienced the DRE 1 time , summore its not GoW but PGR3 and yea the disk is abit dirty with finger print and dust

Nope and IIRC that message only came out when you're using ori gow disk on a modded consoles
