Marshmallow should be good enough, not like you are missing anything big. I think only like 15 or so phone comes with Nougat.

I dont think you can change it after its dead. haha. Basically you can throw away kot once its life come to end. Already 1 year and 2 months using jbl go, so far didnt encounter any problem yet
