The 5% is not a discount. It's a card feature and nothing to do with Lazada.

Basically if you use the CIMB card on Lazada for a RM100 item your card will be charged RM90 (10% discount) (assuming it's eligible).

Then CIMB at the end of the month will total up your online spend and give you 5% rebate on that. For this transaction you'll get 5% of RM90 (less than RM5).

Of course, if your total online spend is more than RM600 (cap RM30) then you won't get rebate for any further transaction. So if for example you buy on Lazada total of RM3k you will swipe total RM2.7k, but cashback is at RM30 (much less than 5%).

Yea it's a credit card feature. Cause was wondering if Lazada partnered with CIMB and they combine the 5% rebate from the card together to become 10% or what
