for those that were not here in the very beginning,...
lowyatnet was a very small tight community,..comprising of geeks and nerds,..obsessed with technology,.. 2002 before the new server implementation (dats why the earliest members date to 2003 only)...a guy called poweredge (sharilwan) came into lowyat and all trust was broken... he was offering Asus 9700pro/9800pro/9800xt,...back in those days it was the best graphic cards money could buy,..8 pixel pipelines,..dreams of getting 7000marks in 3dmark03,.. he offered it to us at only half the price,...who could resist,...i am one of the lucky few,...back then i was also conducting the pentium 4 2.4C MO bulk,... he said he was going to taiwan direct to get us the graphic cards,...then the excuses started to come,...sick,...late,...plane tickets,..etc,...he was evil incarnate,.. his wife was not as innocent as she looked,..her name,...winnie ....@#$,...we were to bank in our money all RM70,000.00 into her account,...we foolishly did,..like lambs to the slaughter,.. ahh those were gentler times,..with more honesty and dignity...who would have dreamed that the devil had come... he made no qualms from who he took from,...13year olds....working adults,...even the boss of Overclockers Paradise in Low Yat plaza was not spared,.. children promised their parents that they would study for the exams if their parents would buy them the card,..some borrowed to finance those gleaming cards,..all for nothing,.. i noticed the discrepancy between the times he said he was in Taiwan and he said he was on the plane flight,..but who would believe me,...after all we all wanted something for half the price,...and GREED took us all,...every last one moderators were called in,..police reports were made all over malaysia..bukit aman,..etc,...at first there were 1 or 2 lucky people who got back their money and then,....silence... what could our police do,..not enough eveidence...dynamic ip...no hard evidence,..except for the money trail that 70k did go into his wife account,... he could make up a story,...maybe a mlm scheme that his wife got dividends from all the down lines,... he was smart,...untill he got caught in Ipoh 2-3 years later,..but was freed on bail,..and later the charges were dropped,...he cheated in lelong,..he put water bottles where laptops whould be...he stole handphones from lowyat members when coding laptops,..he became so daring that he almost did a COD robbery with one of our members over a laptop,.. thank goodness that the member never let the laptopout of his sight,..even when he got into sharilwan car,..and stopped at a petrol station,..sharilwan asked him to go buy some cigaretter or something,..the member was smart enough not to leave the laptop in the car,.. and on and on,... now he works at ECS,..earning 5k a month,...why are his knees bad,...is it that he spends so much time asking GOD for forgiveness??...is it because he was whacked before??....as far as i know they say it is Polio,..I pity his daughter,...for she will carry the sins of the father,.. As an islam person i am sure he is aware of hell,... and yes,...i am just here to tell the story that people have forgotten and have added and subtracted from it,...so that you will know the truth,.. the truth is as malaysians,..we talk but nothing is done,...at the end of the day we say,..its just money,..we can earn more of it,..and we walk away wiser,..and a little bit more cynical about life,...we console ourselves that we were greedy,..and that he preyed on our greed,... after all anything that is remotely of value never came cheap now, did it? maybe he will get his karma in this life,..or the next,...who knows,...tomorrow he may lose his wife and daughter,..or his mother may get a heart attack,... what goes around comes around,..this much I know,...killing him would be too merciful,....take away from him what he loves the most,..and you would have killed without touching him,... all those that were wronged by him,..by now would have made almost 50 times the amount,..nothing hurt but our pride,..that we were dumb enough to be taken for a horse and pony show,... nuff said |

But in the end, until now none of the victim get back their money. The seller always use Skyhobby, or SkyxxD to sell things, and by the way he is still a active seller in lelong.com.my. So beware of this if you see this username in lowyat. Guess what MCA and BA respond after all these 161 victims reported to them? the result is, nothing can do to the conman, because this is internet transaction, they can do nothing...I mean..WTF?
