Anyone has ever done this?

How the hell does all those bad files infected us?

Torrent?
3gp files?
I'm using Mozilla...should not have happened(the infection).

The infections Windows Malicious Software Remover removes are in fact notorious worms (well, most of them) that sneak into your computer through unpatched vulnerabilities. After Running WIN-Mal Remover, you ought to update your system accordingly. Cheers!

It is useful lah.(btw, can't wait for Transformers to come out)

Added on February 25, 2007, 2:33 pmIt is useful. And, what inspired you to use Windows Malicious Software Removal tool?

You doubt ur comp has Virus or...... bored out of ur mind and want to try something new...?
If you really think your comp is infected.
Run online scan loh.

-Panda Active Scan
-Trend Micro

These 2 quite good. Or get drweb cureit. (Juz surf in www.google.com)

I would not exactly agree with igmroey's reply. You only use Win-Mal Software Remover ONLY IF your computer has an existing problem e.g. Blaster Worm? Sasser? Other than that, having an occasional scan with it only makes sure that your computer is free from SUCH Worms. It is useful, no doubt, BUT not adequate to replace an AntiVirus Solution. Cheers!

Agreed with natakaasd.
If Win_mal remover can detect the malicious files, your AV should have detected it before that especially if you do routine scans and have realtime monitor on. Unless... you don't have one or your Av doesn't do realtime protection

Lots of thanks for Bean_man for covering a little bit of what I intended to say too. Hope the TS's question/issue is finally settled. Cheers!
