hi i recently just move to melaka, and i want to ask if anyone here from melaka know where to buy xbox360, and its game, it really hard to find a gamer store here,

I just survey at MP-Micky trading and Tesco and they got sell it Xbox 360 and PS3 consoles with games. Price range at RM1600 at micky and Tesco.

they all sell DOA version xbox 360.plaza hang tua i can get it RM1580.

unmode i thnk is around RM1500 of warranty teen.com dont have warrnty for modded but they will fix it for you but with cost. you can try 1st floor plaza hang tuah ask them.

those that buying 360 please do take note on the 3rod hardware failure... no one can fix this failure so just as a precaution for you guys when deciding at which shop

yes..I'm sure 100%. they have it. But Xbox360 need to order what that guy told me. and the games also have but in the shelf.

a bit high... if you dont mind perhaps the best way is to grab an express bus from melaka to kl puduraya. then use start lrt to bernard's shop at sogo area. a bit tiring but you still save some cash and also buying from reliable shop.

well cheaper not means tht they have good warranty...
coz 3ROD from Xbox 360 give you problem man...
trust me... Ori Un-Mod worth to invest...

michael do have a good point also to buy ori 360 ,is up to you ori or mod can you save more on ori 360 or with mod 360.

one ori games sell RM 200- RM 150 new, you will get one year warranty. mod game RM 15-20 with no warranty.but i think soon or later other will find way to fix 3rod.

Make sure you check the production date before buying (it's on the back of the console).

The earlier batch are notorious for 3ROD. (especially before Jun, I think?)

From what I read quite a few people here who bought the first batch 360s have bought a second console because of 3ROD.

Could be wrong though.

dont say like that lah... my 1st batch japanese 360 still working fine here... everyday also praying/playing hard...

i put a old vcr fan at back to suck the hot air it run more cool,no 3rod yet hope never will.

jus leave it at an open space... don put anything to block the air flow...
thats all... 3ROD is a very random thing... it is Manufacturing fault...

i duno about that...
all i can tell is if they release a firmware which have banned those things you kena la...
we don know when MS will take stern action againts modded consoles...
some of them face some small issues... some of their modded console dead after updates...
duno wat happen... but some of them said it is not the modded problem...
it is MS problem during that period... we don know...

so better buy mod or mot modded?

In my opinion, it's harder to get Xbox 360 in Melaka. I am from Melaka too but I bought my 360 from kl. Furthermore, they have more varieties of games in kl.
