That's obviously photoshop problem with high sierra. You should check with Adobe if they are releasing any patches, reinstalling OS won't do you any helps, unless your are downloading back to where it was

Apple Malaysia online, u MUST buy it before expired and better buy it now.  Do take note that they will ship the warranty booklet (so dumb, it's just serial number) to you from China and it may take up to 5 biz days. If the new serial arrives after current warranty expired, you can't longer register the new serial. U must call Apple help to explain the hold up, they will let you tho.

I prefer to do it myself, that way i can talk to Apple and solve things out quicker if the license does arrives after expiration date. God knows how long will take reseller solves that out for you.

Dun understand. Why not buy from Machines, etc... and activate on the spot? Same thing no? And you'll have physical proof of purchase.

Sent my MBP (TB) 2016 to apple store in HK. Space bar not working right.
3 days later (yesterday), they called to let me know that I can collect my MBP. And to my surprise, they changed it with the 2nd generation keyboard. Also, my speaker which kaput a few months earlier are fixed too. And just now, I realized that my MBP battery also brand new with Cycle Count = 0.

All FOC.

Seems that they will change the whole top panel which included speaker and battery.

Note: My warranty was expired 5 months ago.

The problem is not your external hard drive, it's your USB adapter. USB 3.0 interferes with 2.4 Ghz wifi.
What you can do is either: connect your external hard disk to APPLE usb C->usb A adapter (with proper shielding and only USB 2.0) or use a 5Ghz wifi. Hope it resolves your issue

any suggestion for usb-c hub? require hdmi, sd card and usb ports.

You mean your external HDD comes with USB C? or you have another hub to connect the external hdd to usb C

My MBP TB warranty is till 7th Oct, contemplating whether I should buy the AppleCare to extend the warranty another 2 years.

I just bought us version of mbp 13 2017 model. I noticed when i charged it i felt something like electric shock on the mbp body. It is not that bad but the feeling makes me uneasy. Any advise? It is my 1st time using mac

The man from switch also advised the same. The aluminium body cannot be too near to the power socket.
