Is birkenstock slippers really worth da money?

I dint choose the Birkenstock , the Birkenstock choose me.
Hujan lebat gila in Tokyo Disneyland and since I dont want to waste my 1 day pass, I just brave through it. Back at the hotel, I asked the concierge to help buy a pair of slippers since my only pair of shoes is soaking wet and busuk. The concierge got me the standard Birkenstock for about 11K yen gg  Initially not much different from any slippers I have but now it kind of adjusted to my feet.
