has anyone tried the rm8/day unlimited high speed internet?
is it really unlimited because i want to download games because games nowadays are like 20-50GB each

im asking if it is really unlimited because from what i read, the unlimited digi streaming (eg. RM30 for 6GB + unlimited stream) is actually limited to 10gb.

oh god... this "unlimited" term is so confusing. why cant it just be like the old unlimited burung hantu which implies download as much as you want lol

They offer you unlimited speed but not for quota.

Actually.. what part of the current digi offer is 'unlimited' (hence, the package name)..
they caps your speed..
they caps the quota
Feels like it's quite misleading

Quota say10gb per day

Cap speed is ok as long streaming video works....

And unlimited data may be

Thus, i should have read carefully lol

you can either have:

unlimited speed / transfer rate but at limited data quota
OR
unlimited data quota but very limited speed / transfer rate

you WILL NEVER HAVE BOTH.

sad but it's the reality for telcos in malaysia.

webe *unlimited* data/call/sms also have limit. Nothing is unlimited.

maybe someone need to test and use their 10GB daily limit and what speed

the old burung hantu had both unlimited speed and data (although data given was actually 2TB)

i think that depends on the broadband modem/phone.
i have a broadband modem that supports 3.6Mbps and can only download at 100~200++ KB/s
then using the same simcard, i can download at as high as 2.6 MB/s because my phone supports 65Mbps (my phone doesn't support 4G)

** im not sure 65Mbps is my laptop's wifi speed or the phone tethering speed

one things, I do believe the RM8 package is truly unlimited.
most of the way I check the usage, the system will show unlimited and with no usage..

not sure if they follow SG telco prepaid trend.
in SG, the unlimited prepaid package also unlimited but when subscribe, it will come with SMS showing 100GB data...but when check, it is unlimited with no data usage showing..

Balik kg for 4 days then rm32 only

i see, i checked at the other forum, the 20GB is actually for digi best, mine is digi smart. so no chance getting 20GB, btw i already bought hotlink ec/em sim, now enjoying 50GB internet when reload $10 from 1am to 7am.

unlimited speed i can download for speed of 6mb per sec with idm so thats a lot ... but too bad its only for 20gb ...but worth it

smart prepaid already long gone, now is best and live plan only. i m not sure about yours.

i m on hotlink ec/em, where i top up $10, i get 5 day 1am-to-7am 20GB internet lor (10GB fb+10GB internet)
so on first nite, I just whack the 10GB internet non stop which consume all the 5x10GB internet lar. lol

They should state FUP upfront, instead of digging at their terms and condition. Totally not user friendly. but I managed to download 23gig of data..

yes the speed was around 10-15mbps at my area.
