Cons? What cons? It just take a bit of homework to make sure you buy the right size of cards/coolers.

I'm building one as soon as Kaby Lake is out!

ITX board only appears for a short period. If you want to get the replacement in 3 years time (say it spoiled), you only can get M-ATX.

Just curious, may I know what kind of system build are going to pursuit? Gaming? Video?

Pro: Tiny case just like the game console. rclxm9.gif

Con: very limited peripherals expansions, heat issues as very limited choices of heat-sink solutions due to the spaces in the itx case is limited.

Here is another incoming Phanteks itx/SFF cases:

mostly use for gaming and little garaphic design work. looking for something small is because more easily to bring here and there sometimes since my ATX build also alot
space , want it to look compact .

Does the case you want only support SFX PSU? They cost way more than their ATX counterpart for the same spec. biggrin.gif

May be you should try MATX build, still smaller & Cheaper than ATX build.

As for your preferred Ethoo Evolve ITX case.. I still think its bigger than my current Silverstone FTZ-01 itx build.

BTW, all itx cases are not OC friendly.

pretty much.
it depends on the type of rig youre going for as well.
ultimate 'gaming' setups or workstations can cost much much more compared to their m-atx or atx counterparts.

i've just finished assemble my ITX last weekend.
so far my opinion
Pros:
Small
nice to see very nice build (i use rvz02)
can use full size graphic card.

Cons:
difficult to find low profile cpu cooler (like mine, i need to find cooler that is less than 50mm for good performance).
very tight on setting up the mobo to case.
limited PSU, again, find the low profile one, recommended SFX500-LG, the cable all are thin cable easier to install, mine one not sad.gif doh.gif
depends on the mobo, very limited space to put HDD (it would be better to buy ssd or PCIE m.2, expensive)

overall, i very happy with my build pair it with 23" IPS.

I just changed my standard ITX build to micro ATX build. Consumes less space and easy to carry. Easy to maintain and also easy to clean.

But less option to upgrade in future as there's not place for SLI for my case. Also need to measure properly before buying the hardware so that it will fit.

Overall I am happy that I switched over.

You could still get an ATX build with the cases like Fractal Design's Define C or Corsair's Carbide Clear 400C, which are really very "small"

few years back mITX was the smallest system which can be as powerful as a full ATX without SLI.

Now with Nvidia having 1080 in laptop which is as powerful as the desktop counterpart, mITX doesn't feel as small anymore.

IMO it is fun to build system in small cases like the CM Elite 110, Ncase M1, Silverstone FTZ-01, DAN-A4 and in future Sentry.
