don't be happy for too long, price for RAM going down won't be for long if they decide to cut production

CPU is downwards because new models and stock clearance but because RAM remains the same throughout the year, there won't be any usual downward pricing for too long

Apparently got 2 versions

ver3.3 sell at around RM500
ver 2.0 sell at around RM420

But yeah I am considering whether to grab 4 sticks of DDR667 1GB @ RM224 now to power my *upcoming* vista rig. Price increase will be annoying.

I think KINGSTON DDR667 1GB will drop to RM200 or less next month because 2GB DDR667 is coming....

Yea, DS3 price is firm for now. I went to check the price @lyp yesterday aft view this thread. Went back empty handed lol If DS3 selling for RM420, then its cheaper than S3 alrdy. Thts almost impossible.

340MB version so if u dont mind(at least better than those 256MB 7900GS),u can get it....Performance the same if the game required not more than the ram provided....

Guys,

just a simple advice here for you all. Grab ur rams if you worry the price increase. Bear in mind, every tuesday or wednesday, the price will change, either a little or alot. So, if you worry price increase after CNY, this week will be your time to grab it.

As for the DS3 mobo, its kinda impossible to be priced @RM 420.00, coz thats even cheaper than their cost for S3. Printing error mayb, correct me if I'm wrong.

The Kingston 1GB still at the same price, if the price dropped, sure get another 1GB.

hey guys do u think i should upgrade to 1GB x 2 DDR ram now? i feel 512MB x 2 DDR ram is still ok ATM n i not willing 2 spend my more 1337 total of ang pow earned this year bcoz this is the highest total i ever earned in my entire cny life. i got a plan 2 save this money 4 new PCIE mobo with 8600ULTRA.

now is right time to buy rams, well if u can wait till april i heard rumours bout proc price oso gonna drop oso...

i think better wait till Next Pc Fair...if not mistaken on 13 -15 April..sure price will drop at that time...

but just don't expect too much, sometimes RAM will be selling more xpensiv during the PC fair....

I went to lowyat plaza yesterday.
The price for Intel C2D haven't drop.Maybe I will looking forward after few month.
Currently focusing in upgrading ram.

If you're saving cost and finding long lasting ram, kingston will be a good choice.
For best performance better choose corsair but kingston more recommended.

Kingston and corsair are offeringhow many years of warranty?

If regarding to what Intel announced before, the price for C2D should drop in around March or April...
