Coffee and tea session, 22nd April, 2017

This meetup doesn't require bikes but that's not to say you can't turn up on one Fadzli, co-organizer, has suggested we do a teh-tarik session to meet with fellow riders and it's something that I wanted to do as well. We can meet to talk riding, bikes and equipment, exchange information, listen to suggestions and get to know one another so we can put faces to names.

Ride with Trek, 30th April 2017

Ride with the boys from Trek. Destination Batu Arang via the Guthrie Corridor Expressway (GCE), distance approximately 80km. The ride will mostly be on the motorcycle lane. Please meet at the following location (where the Trek store is located):

Bandar Utama ride, 6th May 2017

This ride is back to the short ones that I started with when I created PJ Bicycling Meetup. We will ride within the vicinity of Bandar Utama for a relaxing jaunt round the neighbourhood. All are welcome and we have McDonalds junk to refuel with at the end! My HP 016-3733865.

Gravel ride in Putrajaya Wetlands (XC type trail, 15~20km), 20th May 2017

Surface type: 90% dirt & gravel, 8% tarmac, 2% possible shallow water.
Difficulty: Generally easy-moderate; some inclines and declines
Recommended bikes: Anything except road-bikes unless you enjoy patching punctures.

Have a great feel for some trail and gravel riding under trees and bridges around Putrajaya's wetlands. It's a very safe route that rewards all types of riding discipline. You'll be rewarded with fresh air, nature all around and adventure.

We'll gather at 7:30am in the morning at Pusat Rekreasi Air Putrajaya and depart by 8.00am

What to bring:
Your bike
Helmet (compulsory!)
2 litres of water
slippers (optional as the path may or may not fill with water)
Sunscreen (it will still get sunny around 10am onward
Sunglasses (optional)

Exploratory ride to Bukit Kiara from Bandar Utama, routing through Sprint, onwards to Segambut through to Desa Park City, looping back towards Bukit Lanjan and TTDI and back to Bandar Utama. Ride to Eco Sanctuary, Telok Panglima Garang, 25th June 2017

We meet at USJ Taipan (Old Town White Coffee) for this ride to Eco Sanctuary. The route will take us onto Kesas, thru' Kota Kemuning, using Pesiaran Rimbayu all the way in. Raya ride to Kg. Sungai Penchala, 26th June 2017

Library ride, Shah Alam, 28th July 2017

Friday ride to visit the public library in Shah Alam, never knew there was one there. We ride from Subang and cross over to Shah Alam via SS19. Morning spin to Jenjarom town, 20th August 2017

Morning spin to Jenjarom to visit the old temple and town. Also to find some nice places to eat. We stop in Kota Kemuning to meet with Debbie and ride with her within KK, re-fuel and head on over to Jenjarom. We meet at Shell petrol station USJ 2 which is very near the Kesas highway. There's plenty of parking too although I don't drive My HP 016-3733865.
