i give up and send to local shop for reformatting.

at first thought im going to lose the files, but luckily after few hours all the pictures was automatically recovered back.

it depends on your icloud settings.

Good to hear that you have resolved your issues. So did you manage to find out what made your phone malfunction in the first place? Then can avoid reoccurring in the future.

Sooner or later you need to update as these updates do have security updates (to keep viruses away). I too have a ip5s and with the latest iOS. So far no complaints from the user (my son) and all functions are working as usual. Apple would not allow any model to update the ios if they feel that it will be detrimental to the phone. For example, ip4 will only able to update to iOS 7.2. Therefore if ip5s can update, might as well update for the sake of your precious data.

- when it stuck on apple logo, press home and power button while intact the cable
until it reboot. when it reach to apple logo again, dont press power button but keep pressing home button until it shows connect to itunes, then download the updates and keep the cable intact with the phone, wait around 30 minute it will reboot again and goes to normal....
