u can still go when the range is at 0km. but it wouldnt be very far and it wouldnt give u a peace of mind. still a good test to see how far u can go when it hits 0km range, that way u will drive conservatively to hit the petrol stations within that radius.

not advisable to let it hit 0km range though. u might inconvenience ppl when u get stuck.

PSA: this is not advisable if you drive an F1 car since F1 cars rely on fuel to cool the engine down. no fuel usually results in a blown up engine.

definitely can, but at that time you'd better drive like a christian motorist (James May) and if possible don't use AC. And seriously find the nearest petrol station.

the petrol also act as coolant to the fuel pump
so running near empty will risk overheating it

Car using high pressure fuel pump, never do it! You will be in a hell of a situation even if still a bit of petrol left.

Your car will go haywire, gearbox error and fails to change gear, all the errors come out snd car jerking like hell.

My car fuel tank is 55l. But i never could get past 45l when filling up petrol at 0km range. I assume that 10l is the "reserve" capacity before you could find a petrol station.
