Hi Guys, I withdraw money from Maybank ATM at one of the AEON shopping mall.

Most of the notes was worn, one ever is torn note at one left up comer.

I bring to one of the Maybank to bank in, after long Q till my turn, the staff refuse to accept. She said EVERYDAY she withdraw from ATM but never receive torn note. Ask me go to BNM to change.

Just wonder you guys happen to withdraw torn notes from ATM?

Any other bank accept torn notes?

No one want to accept it.

try put in deposit machine or use to pay for parking ticket.. sometimes the machine will accept it

at least you never had the cdm machine give u back half of rm100

Happened to me once, but is Ambank.

RM50 torn almost half.

the branch should be held responsible to change it for the customer.
BNM is the final destination to replace one to one.
If the branch is refuse to help, BNM would be the last resort

if can see the serial number, then the staff have to accept.
if the serial number no more/damaged, then they have the right to refuse the bank note.

reload touch n go at toll booth, if they dunwan accept, just say no more money, dunwan accept then let me pass through foc.

The series number still can see clearly, only part of upper left corner was torn. But the staff refuse to accept.

Never ever do that. If the bank where they bankin the cash collection refuse to accept it, the cashier need to replace it with his own money.

what i knew is:
1. cannot write/draw anything on agong face;
2. the serial number must be there.

other than these, even my bank notes koyak into half the cashier still accepts it.

if im you i will just go those supermarket like jusco/tesco buy something with the bank note saja, normally they wont be too strict for this.

This is the best tape to repair torn notes. I repair a lot of damaged notes with this.

Next time you get torn note

Put in front of CCTV at ATM and make sure it record your face and note

Then go to bank and fcuk them upside down

I can change at bank
