hi all sifu/masta here....i'm a proud owner of Jazz V spec for 1.5 months. Did my 1k service and apparently nothing was change..they just check2 see2 look2...ask to come back 5 mth later/10k km.

You see its 1.5 month and i'm only clocking 1.3k km only. By looking at it i might only hit 6k km and its adi 6 month old..hahaha...so then i'm planning another trip to Alor Setar and Penang on the Jazz so clock more km.

Since the Jazz engine oil & etc all still from factory. Any advice for long distance trip. Yes, i've been reading quite a bit before posting. Like those no no thingy, no hard accel, no cruise control, no static at a particular speed.

I actually have brought it back to Alor Setar when it was only 200km...i drove below 100km/h most the time and variable speed between 75-95km/h. Any advice would be good smile.gif

As for the car the only complain i got is i think the Goodyear Excellence tyre a bit noisy on certain road/tarmac. other than that its definately better ride that all my previous national car, so much stable when cornering, fc as good as my kelisa if not better and the looks is awesome and handsome.

i'm very confident as when i compared my Jazz with my kelisa at 110kph...jazz is much2 stable and i've flat out my kelisa before in MEX highway if i remember correctly i manage to hit 170kph that time and no flip over tongue.gif

Guys, do u check d stock car alarm originally hw it trigger?

hav a jezz bt then window kena smash n yet no alarm is trigger... ranting.gif  ranting.gif  ranting.gif

when i got the car few month ago i did tested the alarm by doing door opening after activated the alarm system and it did trigger when door opening without the remote near the car. i guess it will only trigger when door break ins. Probably need to install a 3rd party alarm system with sensor for windows break ins.

Hi guys, newbie here and this is my first writting. I would be getting a new Jazz V 2018 next week, probably. Jazz would be the second car after 15years driving a manual local car - no airbags,abs,vsa,ebd,rear-cam bla bla bla etc.
Just want to ask a question about HSA. During the test-drive, I noticed that the car moved backwards on 30~40 degree slope. This what I did on the slope - step-in brake and released slowly. I intended to see the car stayed still
but I was wrong. The car stayed just about 1-2 sec and then moved backwards. Is this how HSA working?

I noticed that some of you said that you wouldn't get the car as they are out of stocks, what variant did you purchase? My SA told me that the Jazz V could get within 5 days which meant next week as I met him 2 days ago in Seremban. I have
no idea if he cheated on me, probably after signed the LoU he would change his statement to one month. Fortunately I have not paid and signed anything yet but all documents have been submitted and approved.

hi newbie..haha i'm a newbie to Jazz myself... & yes that is how HSA works. It just assist you for moving your feet from brake to accelerator pedal. That is what i read somewhere in the internet.

Yeah, i wonder why but i know that every branch have their stock in hand. The last time my sales rep show me a list of what color they have stock. i got my car in few days only.

dear all, is the goodyear gt3 that comes along with the jazz fl s spec good? anyone changed it to 185 or 195 wider profile or tyres? coz i will be using this for long distance traveling always, looking for opinion from existing owner, if stock tyres are good enuf then i wont change it hehe..

or maybe keep the budget to upgrade ultra racing stage 1 hehe
*
Hi ZaiZai, after checking in lazada it seems that GY gt3 is more expansive than my GY Excellence tyre. Then i check GY website and seems GY gt3 give superior grip for wet & dry so i presume its should be much better than my GY Excellece. As of now i've been travelling up north to Alor Setar for like 3 times, max speed at sometime 120kph no issue. Especially after the ipoh tunnel (heading north) there is a left bend down hill, if i remember correctly i was cruising like 90-100kph, no brakes, but i was dragging my gear in S mode brows.gif ... tyre are fine and no 'finger nail scratching on black board' sound..hahaha duno how to describe that sound.

ultra racing stage 1...looks like can go track racing adi....

well, my next tyre will be BS Potenza RE003 as i see my friend using on his hyundai accent sapu corner like nobody business and the grip is excellente but i think don't have 16" so prolly have to upgrade to 17" rims tongue.gif

Thanks for the answer, rebooto. I prefer the traditional way (handbrake) than the HSA smile.gif. I wish I could get the car within this week.

Actually for me HSA only good for really steep hills. Yeah hope u will get your baby this week then next week holiday can enjoy brows.gif

I believe it’s a good tint offered as the shop panel has established and built good relations more than 5 years with Honda and Toyota outlets nearby. It just 7 years shop warranty that keep me wondering. The reputations of the shop is quite good actually.
*
for me, i don't believe in inhouse brand..not tat i'm sceptical but i trust those big ass tint company with big R&D budget compared to smaller ones. yeah u have to pay the premium for the stuff you want but personally i took 3M and very happy with it. Previously i use inhouse brand i think its call secure tint ...more or less the same price with 3M and both security tint too...3M don't feel so hot in the sun.

But nonetheless since you believe in what you believe ...awesome 7 years is much better than 3M as they only give 5 years
