Regarding the rattle noise, mine is coming from the right front passenger seat aircond duct area. It is due to the aircond duct does not have proper foam insulation to soften the vibration and thus knocking the dashboard.
Slide a folded piece of anti-skid mat between the aircond duct and the dashboard, the noise will be gone.

mind to ask, any pic to show which area need insulation foam? mine had been bugging me since i took my car in 2015....

passenger side car door also got metal knocking sound. bangwall.gif

Thanks but I can't seem to find the exact area like Ur pic. It is inside the passenger drawer right? Do we need to put a thick foam inside?

Can anyone confirm with me this area is suppose to be empty? Or mine is missing something? I can touch the cabin filter from the hole.

using eibach spring on my '15 jazz. feel really comfy, like ori spring but a little bit bumpy sometimes on uneven road. i'm on 16mm ARB at the back and a c pillar bar thou. handling wise, it is so much better now.
but there are some squeaking noise from the passenger side, not sure due to the lowering spring, installation or alignment or something lose in the dashboard.

guys, what is the proper spec of alignment for our car? GK

I bet the squeaking noise has something to do with your c pillar bar.
*
c pillar bar insalled few months after installing eibach springs. and the squeaking noise comes after few weeks of installing eibach springs and noise is from front passenger dashboard area.

noise only comes and go when going through uneven road. not even sure its from the dashboard. rclxub.gif

It is sound like rattle? Maybe the sound came from the spring?
*

Hi. Need some feedback from those of you who has changed your spring and/or absorbers to aftermarket types. How is the ride especially on the floating effect of the car.
Thanks in advance.
*
got myself eibach spring paired with stock absorber + rear anti roll bar and front upper bar. feels like a boat on uneven road. but pretty syiokk on handling and when driving fast.

the con is ride height still looks like stock height. maybe only 1" drop?

I am actually more towards changing to firmer absorber like koni or kayaba sr special n keep the oem spring. I suspect the floaing effect might be due to the quick rebounce of the springs. Unfortunately Koni Malaysia has yet to respond to my querry n SR is a bit costly as it is non servicable.
Coil over will be harsh n bumpy I supposed. From my previous experience on Tein in my putra, good for tight corner n straight but not high speed bends.
Lowered sport spring, I have not tried except on koni sport with h&r lowered spring.
Was reason, I need feedback from those who has upgraded their ride.

Thanks for your feedback.

I've asked koni malaysia FB page before, they didnt bring in anything for Jazz. that was in July 2018 thou. If they responded you on the availability, do update us ya.

coilover maybe can ask those that use GAB SS series. I've heard good things about this SS series. high low soft hard with 32 steps adjustment. sounds good. but over my budget.

if you dont want to cut any wires and scared of voiding the warranty, best is to get adapters. plug n play only.

i installed pillar lights and get myself this from taobao.
https://item.taobao.com/item.htm?spm=a1z0d....id=535757354631

get the right adapter. one is for car plate light another is for connecting from 3rd brake light.

What type of cabin filter u guys use? Mine got really bad smell when following behind trucks or lorries and those bikes that burn out a lot of smokes. Is it related to cabin filter? Hvt change mine for 2 years I think.

Saw shopee got few choices
1) cheap OEM filters around 17-30++
2) Bosch filter around 50-60++
3) honda sc filter around 90-100+

guys. my car is going for 100k/60months service soon. and from honda maintenance schedule, i should change my spark plugs. However, my car only runs around 55k+ km.

Question is should i change the spark plugs or should i wait till 100k km to change.
