when on the move, the Apple ones (since I can't tell the difference in sound when outside).

When indoors, I love my Grado SR60. It's easy enough to drive even from the iPod.

iv tried using the ms1 with my ipod. with the type of music i listen to, they just dong go. and i dont think grado headphones are design more into clarity. too old skool for me.

The grado definite looks old school biggrin.gif but the sound is great, nice midrange, decent bass and soundstage. It's a very open design though, every damn noise outside filters in unless you blast really loud (and damage your hearing in the process) biggrin.gif This is my second pair already, been using them since they first came out back in 1993/1994.

What sort of music do you listen to? Give it a try to see if you like it maybe?

whats the difference between ms1 and sr60 anyway? my preference of music varies :] from pink floyd to justin timberlake to eric clapton to the cranberries. the cardigans, dashboard confessional, gwen stefani, led zappelin, bob marley ;]

I can't use in-ear headphones. I've tried the Sony ones, but had to return them since they were hurting my ears too much.

My next ones will probably be the Sennheiser HD280. Headphone.com has a good list of phones you can look at btw.

i didnt really fancy in ear at first but i came to realise they were alot less tedious than the cans. i only listen my ipod on the go and randomly in the car with my fm transmitter.
