I have a few questions here about shopping malls rental.
Wanting to run a F&B business.

Places that I am interested in is,
1) Midvalley
2) 1 Utama
3) Sunway Pyramid

Questions,
1) What is the contract requirement? How long do I need to rent the space for?
2) How much does these place averagely cost?

Depending on whether you are referring to kiosks or the shop lots itself. If you looking at shoplots then it's going to costs you at least a sum of between RM6k to RM8k monthly for the highest floor with less audience (usually determined by the management company on whether it belongs to a "go-to" floor).

Not sure how much rent a shoplot on the ground floor currently costs in the aforesaid malls but for what I know, a ground floor shop lot in IOI City Mall costs RM18k monthly.

For kiosks itself, it's going to run you slightly cheaper, about half of the costs you would paid for a shop lot.

Contract term varies from a year, two years but never more than three.

Big mall like Mid Valley, KLCC etc will select their tenant. they not only look for money only

remember there is one case which BritishIndia has dispute with KLCC which KLCC move them from 1st floor to another non prime location...
