I'm new to Android system & need your guide how to solve my wife phone.

Last month i bought a Redmi Note 3 16GB/SD/Global ROM version via Gemfive.

It was an import set where bought it only RM 449.00 & this was a gift for my wife birthday.

She using Redmi 2 b4, that why i buy this phone cos she only familiar with Mi system.

2 weeks after used with no problem & all the sudden the phone LOCKED itself  & not recognize finger print that need pin code to unlock. i remember the pin but after enter still cannot unlock it.

until now need 119 minutes then can try to enter pin & now i give up.

search via google lead me to MIUI unlock & i applied & got permission after 3 days.

install Mi flash unlock & follow all procedure but result Couldn't verify device/50% complete.

Check again but only confuse with lots of example & still cannot unlock.
Appreciate to sifu here guide me step by step how to unlock this phone.

Stuck on 50% unlock fix
*** copy paste from first page ***
- just flash china dev rom. (not sure if global dev got same settings)
- login same Mi ID
- turn on developer options by tapping multiple times on miui version
- additional settings - developer options - scroll until you see mi unlock status, tap it and add to authorize unlock status (or whatever the button)..then you'll see success or done status.
- Now boot into fastboot, and your phone should be unlocked successfully now.

Then to revert back back to global rom ?

I just need to unlock without flash that will wipe all data (she got important data & no back up cos just used for 2 week)

Saw at MIUI forum, utube & lot of example but still no luck.
Any other simpler way to unlock ?

anyone upgraded to redmi note 4 SD? Just want to know it is worth upgrading? Especially it was said that the camera has been improved a lot from redmi note 3.

not everyone look at hardware specs only in a phone. Apart from the slight SoC and GPU downgrade, it is actually quite a decently better phone. Design is much better and camera has been improved. Anyway from reading this article, I think it is not a good upgrade/downgrade.

I turned off the phone and charge... I can't see anything in screen.. The notification light is red colour and blinking all the time.. My battery level around 20+%
Turned off phone should be charging with indicator and notification light without blinking rite
Ya using.. It up and down big range.. Below 100,aometimea 1xx,  5xx,8xx highest 1k+

I tried with 2 diff charger and cable.. Later I try 3rd set.. Yours solved? You have the issue charge with blinking red notification when turned off?

Sounds like your phone had faulty hardware. Consider to send it back for warranty claim.

i'll wait for the next upcoming Mi phone haha

Have you tried to off battery saver completely and test? I hv a few apps that would not work if I set no restrict individually. Only by turning battery saver off completely, then they will work fine.

Enable in autostart and lock in memory

Anyone got experience this metal bend at the volume control area? Seems like common issue.

This is my friend's one. He very rough use. May be put in butt pocket and bend.

Mine put in the ipaky hybrid case and slightly bend after few weeks. I guess too tight and it start to compress the body. Definitely a design defect.
