i find that when I take photos it looks ok on the phone, but when you print it out or view zoomed, quite lacking. but i guess you get what you pay for....

anyone managed to fix their GPS issue? I'm still having issue with mine.

i'm having the same problem with the GPS. This is SOOOOOOOOO frustrating!!!

mine is still as problematic as ever.....i think i will not buy xiaomi for my next phone because of this. SOOOOOO irritating. My wife's phone (same model and bought same time) also has the same problem.

i never turn it off

my location mode options:
High accuracy
Battery saving
Device only

if I choose anything else besides high accuracy and I turn on Waze, it will ask me to turn on GPS which then automatically sets my location mode to high accuracy.

I think I may have solved my issue!!!!

Go to Settings > Battery > Power > App Batter Saver > Waze

Background settings: No restrictions (previously restrict background apps)
Background location: Allow (previously restrict)

It seems to work now!

i'm planning to ditch this phone soon. the battery life is really bad now (can't even last a work day anymore) and until now the GPS issue is still not fixed. I know not everyone has the GPS issue, but the fact that it's happening and xiaomi hasn't been able to fully fix the problem, not worth it to me.

bought a mate 10. decided to invest in a phone with good quality camera since i use my phone to take all my photos.

the biggest problems i had with the mi cameras (RN2 and RN3) is there is no OIS and horrible photos in low light. since my battery is also increasingly sucky, decided to invest in a phone which could satisfy both.
