On my way Junior Member 540 posts Joined: Mar 2006	Just updated to V8.2.1.0... First thing i notice no more vibrate when i unlock using fingerprint. And suddenly appears Google Duo apps (video calling) in homescreen...

On my way Junior Member 540 posts Joined: Mar 2006	Anyone facing problem with the phone GPS? Alwiz unable to lock to gps and if able also not stable. Wondering if it's phone issue or the umobile operator issue?

On my way Junior Member 540 posts Joined: Mar 2006	Me too using Umobile with this redmi note 3, very frustrating as this 2 combo will make waze practically useless Thinking of switching to digi.... Anyone using digi and get good GPS here?

Thanks for the info... Now I really thinking of switching to digi from Umobile. Few days tried to use waze and let it on for an hour in my car still unable to lock gps. Even I manually found and reached my destination the phone still keep on searching for GPS. After restart phone also same issue so I seriously suspect Umobile is the main culprit.

Maybe the other day got other's factor making it no signal. But i also did test with a non-sim huawei phone and my RN3 using only home wifi and off mobile data to lock gps and huawei turns out super fast locking. Not sure whether wifi contributing to it or the phone gps module itself.

Yes very much agree. When i'm travelling using gps, my phone alwiz failed to lock gps and need to use my wife's huawei. Her phone like instant lock and straight away can use while my phone hanging there by the windows to dry struggling to lock on.

Previously was bad but now my gps functioning quite ok after i installed GPS Test apps and went to their menu to clear and update AGPS. Locking to gps now managed to be less than 5mins. Of coz not as good as others phone like Huawei but better than nothing. U can try to install the apps and see the result first.
