not everyone look at hardware specs only in a phone. Apart from the slight SoC and GPU downgrade, it is actually quite a decently better phone. Design is much better and camera has been improved. Anyway from reading this article, I think it is not a good upgrade/downgrade.

I can update.  At the moment,  there is miui v8 1.3 mhrmidi  waiting for me to confirm.  I haven't  tho because people say miui 8 will cause low battery performance.  Is that true?
