QUOTE(ericchan @ Jun 21 2007, 03:06 PM) the GPS is responsive?u pay few hundred bucks to try the gps? Added on June 21, 2007, 3:15 pm QUOTE(sonyclie77 @ Jun 18 2007, 07:22 PM) Using GPS is FOC. However the maps aren't. bro, how do u find the batt life? You need both the maps and a receiver to use GPS. The Nokia N95 and 6110 Navigator are examples of phones with built in GPS receivers. Battery life, not sure yet. Today I switched on BT and also GPS and the drain on the battery is quite heavy. Will do more tests before I can conclude how good is the battery life. can tahan 2-3 days for moderate usage? This post has been edited by edtan5: Jun 21 2007, 03:15 PM |

QUOTE(sonyclie77 @ Jun 20 2007, 10:58 PM) Cool that your problem is solved. I bought mine @ Atlantis Communication, SS2. This guy, Christopher looks a decent guy and willing to consider negotiating. Just curious, where did you get your Black 6110 Navigator? Yours seem to be the cheapest I've heard so far. Added on June 21, 2007, 4:10 pmCan someone assist me? After installing the PC Suite into my DELL Notebook and copying my Contact Directory from my N6110 Navi to my Notebook...: (a) How do I access the Contact Directory in my Notebook? (b) Do I need to hook up my Navi to the Notebook or I don't need to? Thx. This post has been edited by Moutzu: Jun 21 2007, 04:10 PM |

QUOTE(lonewolf @ Jun 21 2007, 11:49 AM) the NAVFone is another software right?..coz 6110 already preinstalled route66. so i need to install NAVfone seperately and it will woek with the 6110 gps? NAVFone by Agis is pre-installed as well. So the package comes with 2 maps, NAVFone and Route66.QUOTE(edtan5 @ Jun 21 2007, 03:12 PM) Added on June 21, 2007, 3:15 pm bro, how do u find the batt life? can tahan 2-3 days for moderate usage? I found that route66 map is easier to view while driving but the map is not fully updated even though it is in KL. For NAVFone, the map is very detail but difficult to view during driving. The gps position on NAVFone is also not accruate, a few blocks away from the actual position. Any solution to this?

i think the new nokia maps can do navigation for free without voice...when the app prompt to download voice, just press no and it goes back to navigation screen...
if u happened to download voice file, it will prompt u to purchase etc and u cannot use the navigation part if u cancelled the message. i will try later on to verify it. Added on June 22, 2007, 2:42 pmi tested just..didn't work though This post has been edited by faizalmzain: Jun 22 2007, 02:42 PM |

Will this phone same like N95 which it will download map through GPRS/3G? I heard that N95 face this problems. I might purchase this phone as the price is quite interesting and totally out of the expectation as it first announced.

QUOTE(edtan5 @ Jun 25 2007, 11:55 AM) saw 6110 navi advert in the star liow No need to speculate. It's a in-coming trend. Well right after the music function thingy.price is cheap if u compare wit N95 but my speculations are: there will be more and more hp comming out wit GPS built in Can't really compare with N95. So much more N95 can do, 6110 cannot. If you compare a GPS phone, then yes. 6110 currently i would say the most affordable GPS built-in phone there is. |
