Just got my digi edge!!have to say that speed is nothing to be desired..but at least its better than nothing. Currently im using my Nokia 6630. speeds are as below. Did the test in Curtin, Miri (Sarawak).
 i would really like to have a dedicated modem for my connection though. Any suggestions? |

will certain modem have better performance compared to the others? for example between the AT&T Option GT MAX 3.6 Express and the ZTE MF622?

Any suggestions? thrn i configure my network conection with maximum speed to 230400bps... if not mistaken my old configuration was 115200... so u have to chack back... but if ur phone not support EDGE, nothing can do |

crap..i cant get that speed.tweaked the max speed to 230000 still cant get the speeds you're getting.i think i need a dedicated modem

now the question is WHICH modem. Theres 2 modem that is currently in my mind right now which is the AT&T Option GT MAX 3.6 Express and the ZTE MF622. With the AT&T i get portability as i can just slide it in my express card slot and forget about it.but im afraid that its performance would not be as good as the usb ZTE MF622. so right now im abit

yalah..that lucky bast**d HAHAHA!!but i'm still going to buy a dedicated modem.at first i was thinking of getting the nokia 6230 but then decided that a dedicated device would be a better choice in the long run.
