As i recall, all nokia that has 3g will have edge as well.
But thats not the case for motorola n SE phones which may only have 3g.

always go for the ones that supports edge 236-296 kbps.

Added on November 6, 2007, 6:46 pmhas anyone tried this type of usb modem?
http://www.lelong.com.my/Auc/List/2007-11D...ens_Chipset.htm

Is the speed any good? Seems more flexible compared to pcmcia modems.

not recommended, lol...
You'll lags a lot.

And about RM66/month, I do received the message from DiGi, the next bill should be RM66 now.

Anyway, applies for the 2nd line, must be under the same name right? To only pay rm33[2nd line]?

^ It is from that range.

Can't be helped, its based on GPRS [EDGE is of course faster than GPRS tho, lol]

And again it's mobile connectivity.

check your fact before claiming anything silly/misleading other people.

Maxis RM68 peak speed up to 384kbps
Maxis RM78 peak speed up to 760kbps
Maxis RM98 peak speed up to 3.6Mbps-HSDPA

so it is not RM68 for Maxis HSPDA.....got it....

AND also limited to 3GB of data transmited are allowed (total from upload and download)

AND if you use more than 3GB your service will either be terminated or pay extra for the additional usage.

Celcom RM68 support up to 384kbps and is that HSPDA speed?

Celcom also limits usage of 5GB.

How slow is Digi Edge now?

Is maxis & celcom faster than digi edge with their RM68 plans?
-I do not think so......

AND DIGI EDGE is RM66 package and the truely UNLIMITED plan without any clause, be it if you download 21GB or more, Digi will say go ahead we will not do anything....smile.gif

Cheers.....

Bro..u also need to check ur fact..I'm using Celcom D68 plan and weo get HSDPA speed although advertised as 384kbps & no limit-lah..However for the past few weeks Celcom admitted that they are having problem and suppose to rectify by Today..haizz still slow till Today!....Avg getting 200-300kbps only compare to weeks bck whereby I'm getting 800kbps avg & max as per my siggy! sad.gif

Here is my latest Celcom 3G speedtest sad.gif ..very dissapointed..

Haha nice huh?! WoohoO!!

This is what we(Digi supporter) get for supporting and believing in Digi. I'm always certain that Digi will get 3G or even 3.5/4G.
Its the highest selling and best customer service company in Asia Pacific.

I just cant wait.

Why so irritated, micwin? mad.gif I din mention Digi is not good. Every telcos have its pro n cons, hmm.gif if not how come all of them still can survive together?? Dun do silly claim on here. Human being has own brain to think clearly.

Do u try celcom n maxis 3G before?? If not, pls do not say

"Is maxis & celcom faster than digi edge with their RM68 plans?"
"-I do not think so......"

---Prove them out with Digi edge, let us see the [B]fact. Show us u r not claiming anything silly/misleading other people as u said.

I believe all of us now waiting for Digi 3G. So let's keep an eye on Digi evolution. thumbup.gif

I don't know how to say, just 1 thing that i know is Edge speed is average 128kbps. You are in telco line, you should know Edge is slower then 3G, how come you claimed that digi is faster than maxis or celcom.

Regarding Limitation, i am using digi plan, celcom, and maxis, so far never found any limitation on DOWNLOAD AND UPLOAD.

Lastly, EDGE, 3G and HSDPA, you still need to study more............
good luck

Forgot to mention something, just check definition of broadband, broadband mean the speed must be more than 384kbps.

May be yes, may be not.
If more ppl using, the speed will become slow also. This is why some ppl say gprs faster than edge or edge faster than 3G. It is depend on the signal too.
