I don't think there is any trial period.
However, you can terminate anytime you like because you won't be tied with any contract.
If you are using DiGi as your telco provider, then just try to online and spend few bucks on it see if the connection is good.

my digi edge is very constant..easy to connect too! not l ike last time celcom 3g...need take sometime to connect... quite satisfy with it cos its stable and no control speed after 5gb dl..hope it will maintance all the good thing it got

Yeah mine too, seldom face problem.
Just that since last night's 3.00 a.m. until now I cannot connect to DiGi EDGE because DiGi is transferring its prepaid users to a new platform. Thus, there is interruption over there.
I called the careline and she said will be back within 24 hours. *Fingers crossed*
Using my apartment LAN connection now, pretty fast because everyone has gone back to hometown.

ahha, my first speedtest result using EDGE on a N73 as a usb modem



i also hav a UMobile connection, but usually at this time of the day ( super peak period ) i cannot even complete the speedtest but wif EDGE, i can complete the test on a VERY STABLE connection
pls also note the upload is very much faster than the download , which is a boon for uploaders like facebookers and flickers

i will try it out on my ZTE MF622 USB modem and see which modem is faster

fyi, our fren MODERATOR Fruitie which is abt 60km south of my location cannot even connect to digi net tonite due to the digi main server upgrade ( digi is migrating their server services to another service provider, could be SAP )

so fr here, i dare to say tat a USB modem is definately better than a mobile fon as the connecting device ( modem)

frankly if i were to use Umobile at this time of the day, i definately cannot achieve this speed, moreover my Windows Live Messenger juz log on automatically
previously when i was using Umobile and Celcom......it was a pain to log in

Yeah, I am using my apartment line to online now.
Only DiGi prepaid is affected because they are migrating the users to a new platform.
Unfortunately D' Campus is a prepaid service so I am being affected indirectly.
Anyhow, the careline person says it will be resumed in 24 hours. So far, 20 hours have passed and I still can't online.

Yup, diginet is only applicable for Data Unlimited

You can't use it for 3.5G as it has its own APN which is also backwards compatible

I thought you are using EDGE only when it is peak hours for U-Mobile. Now should be very smooth for U-Mobile right?

yes, tat was my plan and juz because i was using EDGE during the super peak period, and tat i can feel the smoothness i am juz lazy to change to my UM sim to surf.

meanwhile , its even faster now

It seems the server shifting does have a little influence on my speed. Despite the little slow down but I managed to download nearly 400MB of file this morning.

Usually I also did this One good thing is we don't have to worry about FUP.

Yup, once u are on EDGE, and u're downloading things,best not to interrupt it with surfing and etc

Little you know, I was using Celcom D98 too. That time it was having terrible upload speed, I couldn't upload my attachments to my email and also post on LYN. Got extremely frustrated! Not forgetting, the little 5GB allocation. Enough to do what?

So terminated it after it had so many problems this year, last year I was using it happily.

Anyway, now on DiGi EDGE and I'm contented.
