Digi is already much cheaper than that.

With Digi prepaid, EDGE costs RM150/month (RM5/day).

With Digi postpaid, EDGE costs RM33/month (RM1/day).

Digi postpaid still RM99 per month la. Only supplementary line is 33 a month

if the edge can always connected 150kbps - 250kbp stable....it is considered good.........but how do I know my area esp damasara heigh & kepong baru have the good reception even it is digi's coverage

lol...I paid my bill late yesterday @ post office...and today can't connect..called their customer support, tell the bill no...then they said within 30mins can connect...

But just took around 10mins and I'm connected back =3..really respect their customer support =3...so far, the service is quite nice.

So, u can cancel first and apply the package to enjoy the free unlimited data plan (shall be around RM40+ per mth) or free HP smartphone .....up to u how to calculate..........if they reject u because of u r already subscriber, use ur family or relative's name to apply lah since u r satify the service

last month my bill was only rm80++..
i dunno why... i thought they charge rm 99 per month?...

U just dont get it do u? Of course the speed from Maxis and Celcom are better because theyre 3G.
Why must u compare the speed? Check wiki for Edge and 3G comparison.

Some ppl here prefer Digi because of stability. I've used Maxis 3G before and it sucks big time! Regular timeout, contant disconnection etc.

Except you're gonna pay for the data transmitted, since you're not in the Data Unlimited Plan.

Right now I am using Digi with a very small HP.

I would like to get a Nokia E61i too, but it is too large to carry everywhere; for instance if I am going to pasar malam I don't want that giant thing in my pocket getting smashed or stolen. Those times I want to keep carrying the small phone. I don't want to have to keep moving the SIM card back and forth between the phones; it would wear out the phones and I would always be resetting the clocks.

So I would like to have two SIM cards on the same number.

With Maxis you can do this, it's called "One line Multi-SIM". But nobody at the Digi shops could answer whether it's possible with them.

I would really prefer to keep Digi instead of Maxis because Digi rates and web site and IDD are so much better (that Maxis 132 thing is so stupid, can't dial numbers straight from my phone book, have to remember them and re-type them for every call).

hmm...you actually can do that, either convert your data plan only to just like normal postpaid + data unlimited plan [if not mistaken]

I just got the digi edge. surfing using the ipaq 512. facing some problems. the drops dead every 20-30 minutes and i have to restart the phone to get connected again. anyone else face the same problem? is this usual?
