Easier to get for sure and perhaps some tyre models might be cheaper than the stock tyres as well because stock size is odd size according to a few tyre shops i've been to.

Safer or not depends on the tyre u're gonna get and...how u drive    Right now i'm using GY assurance triplemax 195/55 R15. Good grip, even in the wet, silent when new but now not so anymore.

Currently using Dunlop Super sport J5. 195/60R15. Better grip at high speed. On wet condition, never really got the chance to test it. Previous stock tyre feel a bit lightweight at high speed on highway.

No need if you change to R15 as well. If you change to R16 or R17 have to change the rim. Provided yours is not V spec.

I see. I would like to share my experience.
Last time i also changed to 195/60r15 (Michelin xm2) on my E spec stock rim. The tire guy pump more than the recommended tyre pressure. I notice that the acceleration has reduced and the grip wasnt that great. This was probably due to the overflated tires.
So I done some research and calculated that i need to reduce the tyre pressure to around 210 on my front and 200 on my back based on my tyre load index. It became even worst then before. The acceleration was very sluggish and the bodyroll was scary on corners. Driving during the rain was a nightmare.
So I decided to change back to the original size which was 175/65r15 after using for 1 month. The acceleration was quick again and no more scary bodyroll.

According to the tire size calculator for 175/65r15:
1) 195/60R15 +0.8%
2) 185/60R15 -1.3%
3) 195/55R15 -2.5%

I choose 195/60R15 cause the speed error is the least which is 0.8% and I have gain abit of height clearance but  .
Many lowyat members have recommend 195/55R15 coz can choose Michelin PS3 but i saw the speed error was larger.
I think 185/60R15 would be much better but I dont wana take risk again coz I already rugi selling the 195/60r15. So I took the original size which was 175/65r15.

I dont have locking issue.. but i have unlock issue.. something it couldnt detect my finger to unlock it, need try few times only success to unlock it..

Recommend? Take any panel insurer under HIP, just go for cheapest option should be fine. Windscreen insurance value depends on price of windshield + installation. Ask your service ctr SA about this. Tint I dont think is insured but you probably can go back to tint shop and request replacement.
