Gear oil don't need to change very often. Just follow the recommended interval in the manual.

Follow whatever schedule in ur manuals. Anything black & white cannot be disputed. Anything on internet can be replaced/deleted!

Some corrections regarding my City Hybrid... this is the best I can do.. 650km driving in KL city... if no traffic jam, maybe can get more mileage

I recalled some of the test drive review said the engine only kicks in after certain speed. If what u said true, then the engine still running constantly and not really EV mode at low speed.

Ioniq, i think its very value for its price lah. Worthy C-segment Civic FC fighter with oodles of safety gadgets and true hybrid system (which FC still dont have). I was considering this as well, but while the spirit is willing the pocket is crying.

Not really Ioniq prefers EV mode . Ioniq has a larger battery capacity and Ioniq is built as a hybrid car like Prius

It should be electric as the AC can run without starting the engine and Ioniq is desgined to be hybrid/EV in mind

I only test drove ioniq so my comparison with CityH is from reviews. What i see (i think), CityH engine kicks in at 15~20kmh. Ioniq was at 40~50kmh.

Ioniq system is a bit more smarter. Pure EV at low speed, engine kicks in at mid-higher speed & acceleration, & at high cruising speeds the electric motor kick in again to boost the engine. However, while the EV accelerations is good, the 1.6L engine struggles for pickup. Only at Sports Mode (where engine stays ON + EV), pickup is gooding like Civic turbo.
