the facelift touch screen HU looks downgraded, looks like after market HU, it doesn't fit perfectly like 2014 City, USB port is no longer built below the air con, and need to plug in USB device directly to HU, a bit disappointed.
*
Yeah, made it look cheap now... Not sure if it has HDMI like the 2014 model?

Judging from the pic nope.. and it comes with leather seats now wow... now wonder if it is connected to the cluster meter.. like showing the mileage etc...

Does anyone here change seat to OEM leather before? Thinking to do mine as well and need recommendation for it. Thanks in advance.
*
Changed wife's April 2014 City to leather seat when got the car back then, looks exactly the same as the FL model except the stitching color. Wife's one was black, the FL is white.

Bro mind to share where do u changed it and cost around how much? And if possible picture as well. Thanks !

Looks exactly like the FL, just with black stitching instead of white stitching. Did it for RM3000, including center arm rest and door panel too, but not the door handle area like FL.

Quite pricey, think I kena chop by my SA badly ._.

Siao liao then.. I did already no turning back.  bye.gif

But then I shared my experience with you. With 4 passengers go uphill, I made full use of the paddle shift still feel lack of power. Is it normal ah? Also because of using paddle shift going uphill baru I realize my car has 7 gears wor. What does the S1-S7 means? I thought City is 5-speed manual? But then another day when I went Ijok for marketing, paddle shift is so fun on those kampung road  drool.gif
*
Actually, uphill the normal D (variable mode) is more efficient than paddle shift brows.gif

EDIT: the 7 speed is virtual.. cause the City is using CVT, which means no exact fixed ratio like the conventional auto or manual gearbox.

Is it? So it is advisable to use D going uphill? I thought auto gearbox use L or D2/D3 when going uphill? Sorry last time drive manual don't know much about auto transmission.

For the virtual 7-gear I guess so already but still thank you for confirming the info.  notworthy.gif
*
Actually the auto gearbox nowadays are much smarter, they don't up shift when going up hill unlike previously... the only time you will be needing the paddle shift is probably for the "shift umph factor" haha! and when you going down hill and require engine braking.

You can try the Jazz Hybrid Aero Wiper from Hingan Auto Parts.
Is a bit expensive,, last time I buy was RM 135+6% for a set.
Quite nice and look good too on the car

Time to replace wife's City wipers... since 2014... and noticed a lot of wiper scratches on the windscreen now sad.gif. Now to replace the wipers, the above is still the best choice now?

Or should I consider wipers like this Bosch type?

Not many installers will risk to do this, especially if you insist no scratches. They sure will sweat.gif
Perhaps can kamching with ur svc ctr and see if anybody there willing to try.
*
Need to be really friend with the service manager... my colleague car claimed HU, wanted them to help install the bypass cable since already opened up also cannot sweat.gif

yah just got it

My Fiesta has way better sound system for stock. I am okay with 4 speakers , but you are right it just sounds hollow

Anyhow , I found out what on earth is that damn PhoneLink. Its an app that you need to download and you need MHL + HDMI cable , let me know if it works out for you
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?...phonelink&hl=en
I'm going to order the cable. Oh just to confirm our HU is Fujitshu right?
*
I remember sitting in the Fiesta and felt like I was clubbing haha drool.gif them bass!

But on the side note, the FL City and Jazz has really shitty HU... Initially was thinking to buy the City FL to save money since City is a really nice car (but wife has one so having two a bit weird)... ended back with original choice Civic TC-P LOL

Then is it possible to fit the last gen punya HU to the new CFL?
else will need to find a good 3rd party aftermarket unit then
*
Should be able to, since your cluster and all is same right? But you also lose out the features like the handsfree button the steering wheel?

As promised, here is my 1 week-delayed mod: Self-installation of CFL HU Bypass cable.
[attachmentid=9081959]
Removing the HU connectors was  puke.gif  Directly behind the connectors is the aircon vent housing. There is only ~2 inch gap in between them. I have to contort my body, hand & fingers to reach in, press the locking clip, and wiggle the connectors out.

[attachmentid=9081922]
You can see this small gap more clearly. It actually feels smaller than it looks, had a hard time to pull out both the connectors.
Installing the bypass is simpler. Just connect the car HU connector into bypass sockets, then connect it to the HU. Do the inner one (Right) first b4 outer one (Left).

[attachmentid=9081926]
Tidying up the cables with cable tie.

[attachmentid=9081940]
My arm GG alredi, caused by the sharp edges inside the dashboard. You cant see it in this pic, but a bruise appeared a few hours later.

Overall: The bypass cable works and videos stayed ON throughout the drive. I would suggest removing HU to install this as its not easy to install, with the small gap behind the HU connectors and not able to see whats happening (I need to "feel" the connectors, and the locking clips).
*
Those cuts on the arm... reminds me when I did it too LOL. And I did it twice... first tiem one of the pins bent, then had to realign it and refit again. Pengsan hahaha. Done it back in 2014 June for wife's City, but now never use the video function only for the HDMI Waze.

Hey mates, ask a newbie question. Now the retail price listed in honda is excl. insurance. So all the cash rebate calculations should use that price right? For example rebate 3.5 so the car price shd be 89k- 3.5k then add back the whatever insurance amt. Right? Don't know if I make the question clear or not lol
*
Yes that is right.
