actually honda malaysia installed extra door rubber seal in City facelift, so i thinking to do the door sound damping to further lower the cabin noise plus some protection from car door dings.

Even my altis 2014 CBU also ada rattling sound from door panel, side sill cover, front aircond vent, now even my driver seat playing krek krek sound not even hit 3 years. Mostly i diy solve the sound myself. Toyota sc supervisor told me nowaday toyota cut cost alot.

I got the same krok sound. Complaint to SC during 1st service.
Said normal but didnt tell from where. Reverse sensor keep beeping, normal. Boot gap, normal. Reverse cam not clear, normal. Driver seat krok when going thru bump, normal. Matafaka, honda Now worse than Proton?

Bro, your driver side seat krok krok krok sound when going thru uneven road? Myy facelift v spec also kruk kruk sound on uneven road on driver side, i cant trace where the sound..damn. Somemore my steering wheel got tack tack noise, i suspect clock spring problem. Disappointed in Honda quality, my 1st and will be my last Honda car.

Anyone know how much the depreciation rate after 1year for V spec honda city facelift 2017? Thanks

My wife driving the City, i need to swap car with her in order to send to SC troubleshooting, and SC only do troubleshoot on weekdays. Very troublesome.

I fold down rear seat, the krok sound is still there. I'm not 100% sure its the seat making noise cause i can't trace where the sound came from.

My wife need to use the car, cant leave it overnight in SC. Well my wife not so fussy like me, she seem ok with those noises, but i'm the one paying the installment, feel like i bought a Honda+Proton half breed quality car. In hokkien word "boh song" if you understand what i mean

Honda only do regular maintenance on sat and sun. If checking/diagnostic/repair need to send on weekdays. I need to work on weekdays also, get what i mean?

Same here, sent my city to sc, the SA told me the wiper nut cover missing . It cost around rm6 at lelxng

Really fedup with Honda malaysia after sales service, sent in my City V facelift to Honda sg long due to steering knocking noise, problem went away for couple days then returned. Decided to send to Honda chan sow lin because near to my office, so they tighten some screw or something, problem went away for few days then return back. Today send in again to Honda chan sow lin and guess what, the technician said its normal, even said all city got same knocking noise, they even let me try their customer city steering, i told them the the customer city totally no knocking sound at all, and the technician answer me, its normal knocking noise for all Honda car. Really regretted buying this Honda.
Anyone know which SC good at fixing this steering problem?



Do yo guys have the same knocking/clicking noise like my city?

It abit tiring keep sending the car to SC.Honda Kah motor Chan Sow Lin and Honda Kah Motor Selayang any different? Anyway thanks for your recommendation.

I asked the SA, he told me the technician is senior Honda = P1 after sales service, thats how i feel.

Is it spiral cable/clock spring/cable reel?

I suspect today they didn't even try to check my steering and straight away told me its normal. The SC plastic steering protector still on my steering when go check my car.

Bro, which SC you send to? 1st time checking Honda sg long adjust my reeling cable the noise went away few days. I guess need to change the spiral cable.

Sent to Imavest honda sg long last week, and they will order and replace my reeling cable. Now waiting for them to call me once the part arrive. Hopefully the problem solve after replace the part.

Mine 3 months fl city also same, alot dik dak delak from the compressor and fan.
