Osram Night Breaker Unlimited... Too bad the latest Osram Night Breaker Laser and Philips Racing Vision don't have H11 yet...

Temperature wise I think will like Unlimited more? 4000K vs 3750K which is more white in Unlimited compared to Laser

Maybe 2-3 months.
That is just engine/gearbox change only. I guess that they are going to do a proper facelift next week.
That pic in the PT post is just the China version of Vios.

Thailand's dual VVTI vios also just facelifted last year...according to source, facelift vios will be launch next week... Still a facelift though...

I would rather believe it will not fit without changing the whole grill and bumper. But if you dislike the new design, you can get yourselves Honda Grace's LED taillamp & LED headlight. No need change bumper & grill. Just you need to spend quite a big amount of money to achieve it. Around 5k for both taillight & headlight if not mistaken.

Will compare it with the existing NightEye P7 in my City

Wow thanks!

Compared to other area, I'm more interested on the cut off line and how far the light can shine the road rclxms.gif

This will be the most important criteria before installing LED on reflector headlight.

noob question here, those white color light we see on some cars are hid/led? while our stock bulbs are halogen thats y a bit more towards orange/yellowish?
*
Not necessary white light means HID/LED.

It all depends on the color temperature.

Stock halogen bulb falls on 3400K range, so you see yellowish. There are halogen bulb with white/bluish white too. Those are 4300K, 5000K, 5500K etc.

HID bulb doesn't mean white color, it also have yellowish version instead of white.

LED bulb, nowadays common with white color with temperature such as 5500K, 6000K, 6700K etc

Hmm, I have tried both.

My gripe with Bezza is the no tilt-telescopic steering. With Myvi, I already have a sore shoulder, should be worse in Bezza. Lastly, my knees touched the steering column too with Bezza, damn uncomfortable. The backseat is very straight too. Rather just drive my Myvi tbh.

I tried the Persona too. Even test drive unit had rattling dash, and while that CVT is now better, it's still not as good as the City/Vios. Built quality seems to be the same, but surely, with less money I can get the Premium Persona, but the reliability is questionable (I just sold my 1 year old Preve due to multiple engine + electronic issues, luckily got good price, so I only lost 2-3k). Not gonna go back to Proton.

So yeah, for now only City or Vios for peace of mind

M2 price is expensive, so is the service.

If you're comparing spec of Vios J over City S

City S vs Vios J

Auto Folding Side Mirror(City)
Nicer Instrument Cluster (City)
Steering Control(City)
Space(City)

Arm Rest(Vios)
Interior(Vios) - The matt interior of City S is a let down to me
QA(Vios)
Chrome Door Handle(Vios)

But if you're looking into Vios E/G/GX/TRD & City E/V, City no doubt as it has way way much more features.

That's why buy that time opt for free 2 year parts. Stress free and you can take all the upgrade you want!
*
If not mistaken, the 2 year free parts is limited to what they have planned for you. Mineral oil + items in service booklet etc. If you choose to opt for all these optional items, end up you will just use up your 2 years free parts amount faster.

Do double confirm on this. Correct me if I'm wrong.

My pre-FL is the same. My previous old Nissan car also the same. Maybe Japanese-made cars made the right hand light slightly lower to avoid blinding oncoming traffic since not high-tech headlights anyway. laugh.gif
*
Nope. Those are under ECE regulation. They call it asymmetrical beam pattern

For right hand drive, the cut off line for right side need to be lower than left side. -----\____

For left hand drive, the cut off line for left side need to be lower than right side. ____/-----

This being intentionally done to prevent further glare to the traffic in the opposite direction.

It doesn't matter whether its high tech or low tech, just that projector type can have a nice cut-off line, while reflector type still have slight glare.

So do take note that, when ordering headlamp from oversea, make sure you 2x check with the seller to confirm the headlamp is made for the left/right hand drive car else you will just end up blinding others even on low beam.
