Hey guys,
My pre-FL 2014 City, last two month start having problem on reverse sensor.
Usually on the 1st start of the day (morning), the sensor work fine..
But after drive around, then on the afternoon/evening, or repeatedly abuse the "Reverse" mode, the sensor will start to failed.. (The Long Beep Noise) although nothing is detected.

So ystrdy,I make sure the sensor fail, then drive to SC to have a check...
Waiting for 1 hour 30 minutes, just to solve that problem...
Technician said sensor dirty, they clean it and it works like normal..
I will see if the problem come back after few day/month/year..

So I'm not very convinced by the solution did by technician.
I did car wash many times over the two month..
What could be the problem on the reverse sensor? How do they clean sensor?
*
i just changed my rev sensor earlier this month. sent my car for service before raya, but they got no stocj for the sensor. mid july they called me for booking date to change the sensor. free summore even my car serviced outside before. really satisfied with my area's service centre.

Really fedup with Honda malaysia after sales service, sent in my City V facelift to Honda sg long due to steering knocking noise, problem went away for couple days then returned. Decided to send to Honda chan sow lin because near to my office, so they tighten some screw or something, problem went away for few days then return back. Today send in again to Honda chan sow lin and guess what, the technician said its normal, even said all city got same knocking noise, they even let me try their customer city steering, i told them the the customer city totally no knocking sound at all, and the technician answer me, its normal knocking noise for all Honda car. Really regretted buying this Honda.
Anyone know which SC good at fixing this steering problem?

It depends on your luck, touch wood so far so good for my FL V spec (1.5 months) except so called 'gap' issue which for me not too serious for my car

Agree on the tyre noise. It's as noisy as my saga. If you change to other more quiet tyre, it will solve this issue.

For the external noise, for me it's still ok, but those sounds from heavy motors can be heard

Yup yup. For the looks on E spec, we can always add/mod later to match with V spec. Just missing the airbags tho.

The concern for modification is the warranty might be void. If you change ur fabric seat to leather, it might affect your airbags too. For me if u mod ur car, end up the money spend may cost more than 7.5k and u void ur warranty too.

Hence for me it's better to go for V spec if you afford it. Of course if not afford, that's the other story. if u r thinking to modify v spec, it will be the same for u to get v spec or e spec then.

I got 7k cash rebate when i purchased my v spec and got my car in 8 days. So for me it's a good deal and i dont have any intention to mod my car too
