Hmm, not bad price. Did they do good job or they try here try there when opening up ur dashboard center?
So does all the function works? The ports, steering wheel controls, etc?
*
yes, not bad, as Im not the first white mouse to let the foreman to install, he had done on other honda city before.
so far, both of the usb are working, no chance to test the hdmi as I dont have the dongle. this is nothing to do with the steering control.

As promised, here is my 1 week-delayed mod: Self-installation of CFL HU Bypass cable.
[attachmentid=9081959]
Removing the HU connectors was  puke.gif  Directly behind the connectors is the aircon vent housing. There is only ~2 inch gap in between them. I have to contort my body, hand & fingers to reach in, press the locking clip, and wiggle the connectors out.

[attachmentid=9081922]
You can see this small gap more clearly. It actually feels smaller than it looks, had a hard time to pull out both the connectors.
Installing the bypass is simpler. Just connect the car HU connector into bypass sockets, then connect it to the HU. Do the inner one (Right) first b4 outer one (Left).

[attachmentid=9081926]
Tidying up the cables with cable tie.

[attachmentid=9081940]
My arm GG alredi, caused by the sharp edges inside the dashboard. You cant see it in this pic, but a bruise appeared a few hours later.

Overall: The bypass cable works and videos stayed ON throughout the drive. I would suggest removing HU to install this as its not easy to install, with the small gap behind the HU connectors and not able to see whats happening (I need to "feel" the connectors, and the locking clips).

it is more harder for non-touch screen AC panel model city, as the free space is lesser

Yeah from India reviews, Digipad has GPS navi and mirrorlink iirc. Looking at height comparison, I dont think it can fit the FL HU slot thou. sweat.gif

Just looking at it you can alredi feel the cheapness of FL HU.
Digipad > Mitsus pre-FL >>>>>>>> Fujitsu FL vmad.gif

What about JDM Grace HU? Anybody knows what model isit?
*
u can change the HU casing to fit into FL City, as the casing is not attached together with the touch screen as per Pre-FL v spec HU. the main concern is need to modify wiring or find converter for it. smile.gif

Just done my 10k service in Formula Venture SC, took less than 1 hour to complete. By the way, what is the dust & pollen filter? Why they replaced but no charge in the item list? hmm.gif

Hye guys..! Anyone have installed aftermarket foglamp for city FL..? Can suggest any good brand..? So far I know only DLAA and Pentair.. If only these two brands, which one more ok..?

I'm going to install it soon together with V spec Switch Assy Signal Stick.. so, just on off the foglamp through the stick instead of switch beside auto flip side mirror..
*
on top of it, u also can add one wire from on/off signal stick or relay to pin 4 of MICU, so that when you turn on the fog lamp, the fog lamp icon on meter will light on too. smile.gif

*

Is that we need to add on an extra wire or the aftermarket foglamp itself does come with that function to activate the icon..?

Have you tried it?
*
yes, you need extra 1 wire to activate the icon. i will try that once get the fog lamp.
