Dear City owners, just wondering if there is a lamp beneath the gear indicators at the lever? I mean is there a lamp that illuminates the "P, R, N, D, S, L" letters?

damn, even driving honda city, I also can feel the pain of the petrol prices. sweat.gif

Last week pump RM 50. This week have to pump 50 again. Only drive for 130 km doh.gif

I see. I also dunno why my fuel consumption so high.

Prolly due to short distance to office with lots of traffic lights.

I get from 9.0km/l to 13.0km/l normally. Rarely reach 13. Mostly 10-12km/l sweat.gif
*
RM50 for 130km? But that does not equate to your 9km/l... hmm.gif

That's what the computer told me sad.gif I am not a person that rev Gao Gao that kind. But surely got rev a bit lol

Damn pain now, especially I am pumping ron97
*
Cannot rely on the computer fully. RM 50 = 19.2 litres of RON 97 fuel. That's super bad consumption if you can only get 130km out of that figure. Unless you're always stuck in standstill traffic jam for an hour or more everyday then it might make sense.

I travel using LDP/ NPE everyday (jam all the way back & forth) - full tank Caltex Ron95 can reach around 400km +/-
*
I see. I also face a lot of jam every weekday but can average 12.5-13km/litre for a full tank of petrol (450-480km for about 35-36 litres of petrol).

MasBoleh! perhaps u gotta monitor ur fuel consumption further. Shouldn't be that bad.

If 90% drive to work i definitely cannot reach 12km/litre, only can reach 9~11km/litre for full tank, even though i always keep at green bar.
At least 70mins drive for 15km distance, green bar also wasting petrol  cry.gif
*
Wah lao 15km take 70 mins i also will cry.gif but not much better in my case..60 mins drive for 24km. Lol

When the car aircond mode is set to 'internal circulation' and u at traffic light behind a bas kilang/lorry, do you smell their exhaust ?

I fell like the bas exhaust smell is coming into the cabin. I'm driving v-spec

Any of you feel so?
*
I do have the same problem. Especially those that emit visible smoke from their exhaust. Usually i turn off the aircond for a while when i'm behind any vehicle that suddenly emit a lot of smoke. Not sure how to solve the problem. Maybe cabin filter issue. Not too sure

Was changing lanes, drive past very slowly and the car one the right just drive past.

Update: Honda quoted 650 to respray the front bumper.

Any sifus know any cheaper alternatives? Desperately looking for one. Respray price is almost my installment payment. TT.TT.

Actual damage looks like this close up.
*
Get a quote to do it outside. Maybe no need to re-spray also. Spending so much just for some minor scratches is not worth it

As mentioned many many times before, fuel consumption is a very subjective matter. There are several factors that play a part towards it.

my car when do hard braking it will swerve to the left.

anyone know why this is happening? just happened this week. my mileage is 40k

is it sign of brake pad need to be replace?
*
It's not normal for a car to swerve under braking. Better get them checked at nearest SC asap. Don't mess with safety issues like this

Hi guys do I have to follow the car service schedule strictly? Because my car have very low mileage (6500 km only after 18 months). I'm thinking whether delaying the car service schedule that should be done either every 6 month or reaching certain mileage will effect my car warranty/insurance or not? Thanks in advance  biggrin.gif
*
It will affect warranty. Better not go over the time limit. To be sure, check the terms and conditions in ur service booklet. I think it's mentioned there.

Mine is FL. When u first push the start button the indicator will light up for a second. But while warming up the car, the the panel won't show the temperature indicator blue or red 🤔
*
It's blue when it's cold and red when it's hot. Anything between normal operating temperature there won't be any light

But I thought it will be blue when we first start the engine every morning? Since it's still cold

Yes, it is supposed to. Mine does every morning. If yours doesn't light up in the morning, then ask your SC.
