I always opt for no additional parts and i have all the receipts for comparison. I even kept the 2014 honda city service parts and price which was removed from the Honda MY website.

All the parts in my receipts have 15% discount (before gst) as usual.

I request to remove the cabin filter (element filter) from the 50,000km service. Therefore it only consist of engine oil change (SN0W-20 drum), oil filter and oil drain plug washer. Labor is free. All parts have 15% discount. Total price is Rm171.65.
Price of Engine oil, oil filter and oil drain plug washer have increased compared to 2015.

I have also changed from bottle to drum for engine oil. I havent made a price comparison yet. The parts % increased faster than my income, lol..

I told him I change to modern steel or silver. Haha

He say need to wait 1 or 2 month. Ok la, I lazy to take care white colour already. My current car also white. Can feel the pain and effort for taking the care of white colour car. Really need to wax to maintain the colour

Hi guys, Im going to book for the all new honda city 2017 facelift, but im quite confuse for the maintenance cost.
I saw some receipts posted here but there's no one similar to the cost price in their website.
Hopefully someone can explain me.

1) Engine oil +Drain Plug Washer = 79.14  is it the engine oil price ? 5000/7000/10000 oil ?
2) TransmissionFluid + Drainplug + Washer = 67.74,  is it the auto transmission oil ? Is it so cheap ?  (i have my gen2 cps which cost around rm250)
and if so , how come the transmission fluid to be change after 160000km/96 months. :confused:  :confused:
3) Is there any other hidden parts cost
4) Is it compulsory to change any parts stated in the web or advise by the honda service centre itself ?

Doesnt changing to aftermarket brakes void warranty? At 60k km mileage you would still be under warranty period, right?

Nope. This is my 2nd car. And I rather prefer err with caution and do aftermarket replacements AFTER warranty period, because diskpad replacement is included in warranty booklet. If not follow mandatory replacement schedule, I dunno what the SC will say. So caveat emptor.

Oh, FYI. Disk rotor is not wear & tear item, unless you hardbreak always or keep using diskpads until reach metal layer. At most, if wear on rotor is uneven, a skim on the surface will do.

just wondering does the pre-facelift 6th gen city have push start on all the specs?

because i just realized the new facelift city all the specs have push start as standard lol
