Need to know the correct version of nvlddmkm.sys in system32/drivers folder for those using Win 10. I have 2 such files and I don't know which one to use.
Like to have the file size and date.
Many thanks.

Just updating the driver will not solve the problem. Still in the mist of solving this sudden shutdown problem. P/S If you are running Win 10, cam you do a search to find out the folders, size and date of the nvlddmkm.sys? This post has been edited by plumberly: Jan 15 2017, 02:23 PM

Good infor on the 1st link. On the 2nd link, that was what I tried a few days ago when I first got this shutdown problem and unfortunately, it has not solved my problem. P/S In Win 10, can select deferred update where you will get the updates months later. Good, by then they would have tested and rectified most of the bugs! I have set mine for deferred update now.
