Autosurf Dota Competition!!!

Format: 5v5 -AP draft Definition, THRONE GAME.

Description of AP draft
1. Team leader from both sides will have to compete in a toin coss. The winner will be able to draft 1st. ( meaning gets to choose the 1st hero) The loser will choose which side they want i.e. sentinel or scourge

2. The winner choose their 1st hero for their team e.g. 1st pick = Queen of Pain

3. Then the loser choose their 1st pick for their team e.g. 1st pick = Warlock

4. Right now it will be 1.Qop | 1.Warlock ( hero chosen )

5. #2 and #3 will repeat until both teams have 5 heroes chosen.

6. An example of the result of the draft will be like this
1.Qop 2.Vs 3.Chen 4.Thd 5.Sand | 1.Warlock 2.Viper 3.Zeus 4.Veno 5.Rasta

7. The result will be recorded on a piece of paper and both sides will only be allowed to choose these heroes when the game starts.

8. The sentinel side will host the game and type -AP when the game starts. Both teams will then proceed to choose their drafted heroes.

Rules: NO pumping, NO bugs/cheats, NO sharing control, ONLY consumable items can be shared i.e tango,flask,clarity,observer and sentry ward,town portal.
ONLY 1 ARCANE RING PER TEAM


REGISTRATION: Fill in the form and proceed to Autosurf ss15 to register. RM50 per team.
You can download the Registration Form here.

Btw the maximum teams allowed will be 64 only, and those who wanna register can print the form and come to Autosurf ss15 to register over the counter

TEAMS THAT REGISTER AFTER THE 18th WILL NOT BE SEEDED

PRIZES UPDATE
Prizes will be given to TOP Eight (8) teams.

1st Prize
RM1500 + PRIZES WORTH RM1500

2nd Prize
RM1000 + PRIZES WORTH RM1000

3rd Prize
RM600 + PRIZES WORTH RM600

4th
RM300 + PRIZES WORTH RM300

5th,6th,7th,8th (same prizes)
RM150 + PRIZES WORTH RM150


THERE ARE SOME CHANGES WITH THE PRIZES BUT THE VALUE WILL BE AROUND THE SAME

if not enuff cash prize , then maybe give 1 small medal or trophy enuff,

You can only register from Autosurf by buying a ticket
right now the tickets are not printed yet so registration is not open yet, i will update again then the registration is open.

About the map, do u mean location map of Autosurf? We will be making one soon

the map is using 6.38b or 6.41? coz another tread there write 6.38b, here write 6.41, kinda blur about it.

the form was designed when we thought 6.38b was better, but right now 6.41 has very few problems so it should be 6.41 for this competitions.

Well, he meant that 6.41 got very few problem which is a good thing, which means it doesn't have much problem, so should be ok to use it as this tourney map. Plus Philippines and SG are already using 6.41 in their domestic tournament. So why shall we stick with the older version?

sg uses 640 at the moment, not 641.

icic, but 6.41 fixes 6.40's problem so i guess using 6.41 will be better

so far autosurf only have 1 team left
but we might be recruiting another team so we can train together hehe.

RoA is not a new team, only that instead of naming the team after the sponsor, a new name is created to represent the team.

Brother Odin, any updates regarding the tourney? Rules and regulation, match system, ever consider to put up a seeding system?Makes the tournament more interesting. Why not ask Underminer to help you with your tourney, I believe he is a great help since he has the knowledge.

hehe 5k cash dun think so, btw the aim of this competition is to let all the dota gamers enjoy and meet up. We might be changing the maximum teams to 64 and fees to rm50, this way more people will join and gamers can exchange contacts and train for the next major tournament. After all this is a LAN party

Its not feasible for SG teams to come since the prize cant cover up their expenses. But its still a good thing as the prizes are for the top 8 teams, so more teams will be happy to go back with something at least.

something i wanna ask... about the rules... is 6.41 with all pick mode izit??
and all hero allow?? because some of the competition start ban hero already, like warlock(but now nobody will ban already) , or ban all new hero(for my opinion only, i dun need its need), or ban bristleback (for latest competition only), anyway, i just wanna know more detail only, hope odin u can help me, thank you!!

hrm i dun think any hero needs to be banned right now, unless alot of people are complaining about it. I feel if bristleback need to be banned then warlock, queen of pain also need to be banned.

So far i havent seen a hero that is really imbalance,

If there is a hero that doesnt require item/level and is able to pawn 2-3 heroes alone then i will think it is imba.

If anyone thinks a hero needs to be banned for this tourney you can write it here and please back it up with facts, such as bristleback, reason: being able to tank alot with only a vanguard etc...

Good question!! Brother Odin, Autosurf so big, let some spectators go in and enjoy the matches. Its a LAN party as you said. Suggestion: 2 spectators per team. Hehehe

it will depends on the amount of teams joined, most probably for the first few rounds there will be no spectators allowed because i have to use all the pcs i can, but at the later rounds (if its possible) i will let spectators in

As for registering late, so far i guess its ok since its 64 teams, i will allow teams to register and pay on the day itself, but PLEASE register here 1st.
The format should be:
Team Name, Team leader name and contacts.

E.g. Team Name = Autosurf Ðh , Team Leader = Odin (012-3392210)

maybe odin can separate into top n bottom bracket
then same clan can draw in different bracket

[WTA] how is the seeding system ?? based on what type of information to make those team to be seeded... like ?? joined tourney and get what rank will gain wat point ? then highest point will be seeded ask number 1 ??
like badminton points system ? or like football bookies give those bet ratio ??
just curious only.. hehe.. and.. is there any ppl or group doing the seeding job for malaysian dota ??? sorry for nub question too long didn't invovle d

so far my seeding is based on opinions of underminer and ian mok, which is based on previous tourney achievements of teams
but not so sofisticated until got points etc ;P just a gut feeling of how well they can do in tourneys thats all
