Buying anything you like within your own means is by all definition good to yourself BUT given the nature of real properties that are permanent in nature and it does not come cheap, it's always better to take into consideration the prospect of it because to be honest unless you intend to stay at that one place for the rest of your life or you foresee yourself not needing to flip your current property to purchase another one them.
