Hi all. Ive been searching all over the net regarding this issue. But i dont understand. I wanna know the possibility, the pros and cons, in a layman term, in a simple word.

I am a bumi, malay. For now, i want to get a subsale / second hand unit near Pandan Indah. I am talking about a leasehold property.

As a malay / bumi, i should buy the bumi lot only so that the loan and s&p easily approved?

Or if i buy non bumi lot, no problem to transfer the ownership of the house from non bumi to bumi?? Take times and appeal, or easily approved?

If i bought a non bumi lot, then it become bumi lot is it? Or still non bumi lot?

Now, the second part.

If i bought a bumi lot, i can only sell to bumi later? Or i can sell it to non bumi too?

Or if i bought a non bumi lot, can i sell it back to bumi? Or must sell to non bumi?

This house is not for investment. I will stay in the house. Just that if i want to sell it later. If i have money to get a better house for my family.

Thanks everyone. Sorry, im a noob

If in Negeri Sembilan, Lot bumiputra is for bumiputra only. Can sell to non bumi but you need Exco approval, which would probably hardly happened. If got approval also, the lot bumi status stay - that means subsequent sale, it is for bumi onli.

In selangor or kl, u have to check at the related Land office.
