This is what higher band frequency performance.

Band 5 lower freq with 5MHz max 25mbps
Band 38 high freq with 20MHz max 100mbps

It is fact. Not fake. The speed QoS then controlled by telco to give user how much the max speed.

How to use webe mobile and share the internet and pay the fix monthly fee?
*
No package like that. Subscription based on 2 hours. Only choice is to subscribe for webebroadband for r fixed monthly fee. If quota reach, speed capped to 128kbps.

If you onto YouTube, better move to celcom. Pay RM7 for 10gb. More money savings.

Isnt webe 3g = celcom 3g? I guess both would have same speed for youtube.
*
Speed is not same. Webe on Celcom capped 8mbps before and now there are reporting capped on 2mbps. The QoS aggrement within webe and Celcom nobody know exactly, just users experience.

hi, possible to use the dsl modem that support 3g or 4g to use the webe?
for example dlink dsl 2750e that support 3g connection
like this got charge or not?
*
Webe have 2 subscription type:
1. Webe Mobile RM79 - need to pay for Internet distribution.
2. Webe Broadband RM59 - no need to pay for sharing. Can use on modem/router.

You need to subscribe webe broadband to use with your dlink dsl 2750e. But make sure the modem/router support band5 lte to be able to use webebroadband. Not sure if it support 3g on celcom. You need to check compatible modem/router by reading manual or ask tmpoint for sure.

No need apply SIRIM ?
*
Depend on luck. If abang kastam open 1 one, item will be released without need to apply sirim. If they want, they do as any electrical and radio system device need for sirim approval.

I have ordered many similar items before. All freely released.

How much for your setup?
*
Antenna bought from lazada overseas shipping RM100. Direct taobao can get below RM50. If mount outdoor, need low loss cable that cost too much. RM10 per meter.

HI guys, got any solution to weak signal inside the house?

Any device that can boost webe signal?

thanks
*
If outside good signal, in house bad, use booster/amplifier.
If outside bad, inside bad, maybe the tower too far away. Out of coverage.

There are various type of booster/amplifier on market. Find the one that support 850mhz. I have one.

been a webe user for the past month

just wondering to the VPN users, have u guys noticed traffic being throttled on 3g network? Made a home based openVPN network. VPN on 3g seems limited to 500kbps/50kbps, but if flies to 7mbps down under 4g (3g using mi3 and s4, 4g with ip5s)

VPN is part of ways to bypass tethering. So it is not advisable to open talk on this thread.

5 days shipping is very fast. ordinary or express shipping? I purchased from lelong. Could have saved RM1xx
*
This is express shipping by airmail. When shopping on taobao just select skynet/global direct shipping. Shipping process include domestic shipping(within china/seller to warehouse)1-2days, then warehouse to Malaysia.(estimated 3 working days) .using this express service usually your item will be delivered within 10 days from the purchase time.

Noted, though i was asking as I use it to access my plex and NAS stuff from home.

Anyway, someone told me 3g network speeds are capped because webe have to pay celcom when using data for using celcom's network, hence why many activities are throttled

Their 4g network is entirely theirs, so some leeway is given with the data biggrin.gif
*
Before webe running the services, of course there are an agreement with celcom to use their tower and network. Throttling is not about how much the data usage, but to make sure other telcos can survive within competition especially Celcom itself. Celcom still make money by renting the towers to other telcos (MVNO) etc. Please note in Malaysia there are thousands of illegal towers, no license from MCMC and no payment to local government and still they make money by renting the towers.

Illegal towers

seems webe faked the speedtest result (most telco are)..try use other speed test like meteor, opensignal..it will show max 2Mbps instead.
*
No fake. It throttle speed on Google services.

if vpn is not allowed then how to connect to my company network?

Its not allowed by terms and conditions. But you still can setup and use VPN for that purpose. VPN not allowed with the intention to bypass tethering.

Hmm.... Now scratching head which one should I go for.
Currently using Webe, constant and stable 10Mbps 4G at my area, but
-Youtube capped
-tether from phone as hotspot, sometimes disconnected when playing Dota 2, need to reenable bypass method
-cant surf internet while calling
-need to wait or manual set to 3G then 4G after call to get 4G
-after Webe capped celcom 3G at 2Mbps, the situation without 4G frustrated further

If I change to Digi 5Mbps, coverage much better, but
-I get half the speed most of the time at home when updating Steam Games
-not sure the trick that I am using can bypass 5GB tether limit
-I have to pay RM20 more (I am using 3rd line)

Digi can surf internet while calling?
*

Easy to bypass digi80 tethering.
1.modem port forwarding.
2. Vpn
Then your digi80 will become digi150.
