Isnt webe 3g = celcom 3g? I guess both would have same speed for youtube.

been a webe user for the past month

just wondering to the VPN users, have u guys noticed traffic being throttled on 3g network? Made a home based openVPN network. VPN on 3g seems limited to 500kbps/50kbps, but if flies to 7mbps down under 4g (3g using mi3 and s4, 4g with ip5s)

Anyway, someone told me 3g network speeds are capped because webe have to pay celcom when using data for using celcom's network, hence why many activities are throttled

Their 4g network is entirely theirs, so some leeway is given with the data

seems webe faked the speedtest result (most telco are)..try use other speed test like meteor, opensignal..it will show max 2Mbps instead.

Hmm.... Now scratching head which one should I go for.
Currently using Webe, constant and stable 10Mbps 4G at my area, but
-Youtube capped
-tether from phone as hotspot, sometimes disconnected when playing Dota 2, need to reenable bypass method
-cant surf internet while calling
-need to wait or manual set to 3G then 4G after call to get 4G
-after Webe capped celcom 3G at 2Mbps, the situation without 4G frustrated further

If I change to Digi 5Mbps, coverage much better, but
-I get half the speed most of the time at home when updating Steam Games
-not sure the trick that I am using can bypass 5GB tether limit
-I have to pay RM20 more (I am using 3rd line)
