sign up now you will only need to pay 79+tax for life.. until u cancel. Think I saw some user said steam is pretty fast. No cap. PS4.. you will need to be able to put the sim in ps4? webe mobile has no way to tether wifi.. or you can subscribe 2hrs for RM6 to tether it..
*
thanks a lot for clarifying that for me smile.gif . i've got tmgo mifi and some forumers here said could use that for webe? if it cant then i'll just stick with subscribing.

I suspect it is due to location and speed. I was able to watch 720p YouTube in certain areas. Mostly PJ.

How to check my sim delivery status? I've paid on 3/1/2017 and not yet received any confirmation about the delivery date. I already got the tracking number than can't be used yet that is WEBE*****. Delivery address is in Kelantan.

The order status online look like this.

Is there any Broadband provider that offer with MIFI modem on the cheap without contract? I am thinking of using this MIFI modem eventually for Webe Broadband.

Just buy it on the market. Getting one from bundled plan doesn't worth it.

Normally with bundle is cheaper. Especially when seller jacking up the price when they know band 5 modem is in demand.

Can anyone tell me whether USB tethering is allowed or not?

Like connecting my handphone to the PC via USB and downloading through it?

Will I get billed extra later on "Others"?

Yes, you can tether your phone to any other phones/tablets to share your data plan, however this is not enabled by default.

To enable tethering, follow this steps :

CODE
STEP 1 : Login to your Self-Care account at https://webe.com.my/selfcare
STEP 2 : Click 'Subscriptions'
STEP 3 : Under Data Value Added Services, select Personal WiFi 2-hours pass
STEP 4 : Click 2 on 'Buy'  and then 'Confirm' to purchase

You can now tether to any phone by enabling WIFI sharing in your phone.

The usage start from the 'Confirm' stage and last throughout the duration of the pass .

The pass charges will be reflected in your next month bill.

QUOTE
For other mobile operator, tethering is enabled by default and it will consume your monthly allocation (this means you always have to purchase additional top up data).

webe is the only service provider in Malaysia that offers UNLIMITED mobile data , as such we are unable to provide free tethering service.

How do you even "steam" with a phone? AFAIK the only way to do it is to tether to a pc/ laptop with steam.

AFAIK, new TnC from webe said "No".

because usb modem is not tether. But webe's new TnC makes it so that webe's sim cards are meant to be used with devices with voice dialing capabilities. In the first iteration of their tnc, (which you can find in the v1) you'll see that usb modems were exclusively "OKAY" to be used.
