I'm switching back to Maxis after 1 month with Webe.
First I can't receive oversea SMS & credit card OTP. Did a report and they said will investigate.
And then I realize many time customer told me they can't call me as if my area got no line but I'm at home all these while, my phone didn't ring at all.
Then this morning my phone didn't ring too but after 30 minutes I receive the Webe missed call SMS indicating I got a miss call on half a hour earlier.

Maybe it's just me but I don't have such issues with Maxis.

Gonna miss their unlimited call though.

I'm on a 3G phone.

Before switch out first while waiting for them get mature.
Now Digi also adopt unlimited call already.

But then Digi coverage at my area also not good.

I went to shopping mall and this what happen:-
1. saw two bar of 4g
2. when i want to surf net, it quickly drop to H+ with zero bar.
3. forever in H+ in zero bar

I'm shocked that it does not automatically go to Webe 2G. Then I manually set to Webe 2G. It takes a bit of time switch to that.

Maybe this is the reason. Your phone fail to switch to 2G.
How to live with 40-90kb/s?

My home is around 10mb/s.

went to counter to subscribe webe broadband last week.

overheard something from conversation behind counter next to me, along the line of "... rm79 until end of this ..." .

i don't think it's "end of this year". most likely "end of this month" or end of this week".

but then again, did they no longer on promo but always RM79 now?

i lodge a report to webe on 2 things

1. i wasnt able to received the TAC from certain sites such as dropbox
2. the speed was capped at 2mbps since february..

the answer i received was
1. webe has yet to established sms gateway for international sms. no timeframe given
2. my given address is currently on 3g. lte will be put onsite very soon (they refuse to answer the 2mbps cap thingy and they actually didnt address my question at all.. they refuse to admit it)...

Too bad my house don't have Digi coverage.   

In other news, Webe throttled some VPNs@64kbps.

I don't think anyone would even dream of getting involve in any sort of legal battle with any telco. Not worth the trouble for most of us here.

they will sure lost cos you can say i accidentally on the hotspot button and by right you should block it and not allow me to go through
of cos before that you already delete the apps and evidence~

i already paid webe for the april bil.. so i guess i just have to wait till end of april to jumpship to digi...

but demn... webe had such promising start...

webe has TM, the largest bandwidth in malaysia as the backbone...

webe has celcom, one of the widest coverage of 3g in malaysia to ride on...

but still couldnt deliver what he has promised with its stupid 2mbps capping thingy...

Webe broadband also has 3G connection. They are using the same network.
