In my opinion, besides the obvious Google services throttling, other speed throttling is very subjective. I believe their aim right now is to get the best experience for any users connected to the same cell tower. If the tower is congested, QoS would kick in. Depending on the number of users at a particular time, you might get good speed if there's still bandwidth left. When the bandwidth is being used up, it's understandable that your speed will be badly affected. It's the same scenario for any service provider.

Using VPN might help you bypass it for a bit but once everyone is doing the same, it's back to square one. What we as users can do are to complain to the service providers so that they could take it into consideration for their future infrastructure upgrades for the respective areas.

Feel like give up on webe.. Signal quality quite bad at my area.. Getting slower speeds compared to other operators

hopefully they roll out band 38/40 soon..band 5 5Mhz is seriously easily congested...

Heavily congested inside mothership @ Sunway Pyramid...Yet the speed is acceptable.... Usually can touch 15Mbps...

just visited Webe n d CS told me that Webebroadband works just like WebeMobile but without voice, when 4G is not available it will work under 3G.

No leh. My experience tells me otherwise. Unlike webe mobile, webe broadband only available on 4G.

webe broadband only 4g webe band5.. makesure you got webe 4g coverage before use.

lately 4G webe at kch only up to 8Mbps max..

Went back to reconfirm with his colleague but now said only works with 4G. Anyway manage to set my imported MiMax to works with 4G.

im currently using maxis one 128 for my main number and quite satisfied with the services.unfortunately 15gb all days and 15gb weekend is not good enough for me and after 3 weeks start to depleted my data.i need more but maxis 158 and 188 is too pricey for me.my maxis speedtest ranging from 19mbps to 65mbps.
my question is can webe archieve 5mbps data speed ?,oh im stay at kota bharu kelantan.celcom 3g speed is good enough ?

Webe 3g at my place( Keningau Sabah) can reach 200 to 500 kbps download..4g 2-5 Mbps( kota kinabalu)...no drop call..

owh orang keningau.. me from tuaran can get 8-12Mbps ( 3g cap at 8Mbps, 4g seems only can get max 12Mbps.. but only at certain time)

Currently at kuching 7 mile area. 2 bar 4g + need to reconnect operator. Btw, had live chat with webe. Cs says mobile using band 5 n broadband on band 38&40. So no chance for mobile on band 38&40??
