You should first find out which is the recommended textbook for your anatomy classes.
If both are recommended, go to the library and spend some time going through both books. Pick the one which you find easier to study.
I used Chaurasia.

this depends on whether the 'housemanship' in india is recognised in msia......they are usually NOT.....

the reason is, first the housejob there is part of the course, ie equivalent to the senior clerkship or final year of ipta like um......

second, the job scope and responsibility is different.....

mmc will decide.....

in comparison, housejobs done in spore, oz, and uk are recognised by mmc.......

I need to ask questions to all bros studying/having graduated from a medicine course out there:

How interested in medicine do you need to be, so you can graduate from a medicine course? Would you consider money as one appropriate reason to be interested in medicine?

Please use analogy if possible bros, that way I can understand better ^^.

nz and oz recognised.......but that is previously......there may be a change since the msian housemanship was increased to 2 years, like uk........but spore, oz and nz still have 1 year internships.......although I am not aware that mmc has made any decision about recognising 1 year internship.....

best enquire with mmc......

No. Housmanship in Malaysia is seperate from that of India.

Are you a nurse? Hey,dont belittle yourself.Healthcare is a "Teamwork".You are not assistant of doctor but an important role in healthcare.Without you a healthcare system can not function well. tongue.gif

Assistant? Regardless of whether you're a nurse or any other allied health worker, you're important to doctors. Doctors don't run wards, nurses do. Surgeons don't run theatres, the scrub nurse does.
Without you, we fall. Patients die. Hospitals close. We all get screwed.
3K enough? Well you get pretty much 3-4K in Malaysia anyway. Don't convert AUD into RM, it doesn't work that way.

I heard that there are a few new Aussie medical schools coming up, the first batch of graduates will be flooding the aussie PGY1 soon. Does anyone know the exact year for it?

When will the vacancy in Aussie be fully filled? Considering the competent authority pathway that AMC created + the new schools.

i have no privy to the numbers, but based on historical cyclical trends, the new med schools coming on line with graduates, and the numbers of uk grads trying to get in, i don't foresee this lasting more than 5 years......

those who are getting in now, may find the door shut by the time you are ready in 6-7 years time.....

that is why the competition for oz (and now even nz) med schools is intense in imu-pms of late.........compounded by the reduction in places, with the withdrawal of melb u, and the reduction of nz places..........those already in the pipeline, getting to oz/nz will almost certainly mean getting jobs and staying on........getting to uk, may still slip in, if one quickly applies after fy1+2........

if im not mistaken those ppl will enter the med sector as interns in 2012? sth like that? not too sure? starghazzer....any comments?

soon melb wont be producing undergrads.....their intern chruning capacity will be taken over by swinburne? deakin? im not too sure...either one...and monash's post grad mainly cater for the rural workforce...shudn't affect those metro jobs...
