i'm so jealous of you being a Malay, which means 5 years later (1yr for HO and 4 yrs for SLAB), you are specialist already, while most of your Chinese batchmates are still MOs under you.  rclxms.gif

yes.. u can argue and and discuss..
not one sided offensive kinda way..
i dont knw how to explain..
im reasonable and i believe in equality

so if someone really deserve something.. then
they shud really deserve it...
nt because of a race or anything. smile.gif

the kind of thing i dont wan to hear in public is like
"all mat rempit are malay and stupid C4 prime minister or something"
if u wan to talk about quota and anything..
or scholarship provided to certain people..
those things are unreasonable.. if someone do achieve the level
of obtaining something.. then they really shud...

thats the kind of thing i dont mind to hear in public though
*
Dear senior no one will say"mat rempit are all malay" this kind of insulting word!

Hopefully, changes may see as power are now in our beloved PM Mr Najib hands!

That should be a good move to go isn't it? I still think that quality should come first rather than the quantity. Indonesian/ russian unis might be those who're gonna get affected? What about private local uni?
*
ONLY THE INDO UNI affected! They ask me go to russia or local private one! But i choose russia(KSMU),the senior there tell me the quality is quite ok! and the fees is cheaper! biggrin.gif

I will enrolled into MMA(russia) in this september! As I know KSMU(kursk state medical university do not have proper reading material, they have to 100% rely on lecturer but I dont know moscow do the same or not!

So,I need all the senior help to recommend what book I needed as a good references for both pre-clinical and clinical! In future,I will need more help from you all smile.gif

For Tropical diseases I don't think russian medical school will go through it ,so later when I in the medical school after I familiar with basic medical sciences I will need all senior guidance to make me familiar with it!

Beside that, the good way to study medicine. All subjects! How to effectively memorize or familiar with it!

During my clinical years,I will need some update from you all about clinical skills and medical trend needed in malaysia.I will also spend extra time to learn in the hospital in russia,in order to accumulate the clinical experiences.

So,I say thanks first to all the senior here! notworthy.gif

I don't want to be claimed as Incompetent HO when I graduate blush.gif

Wow, so ethusiastic of you. Lol. Anyhow, finish your pre-clinicals first before speaking on clinical subjects. You can now get started on anatomy and physiology, or even biochemistry as well if you could understand them. Other subjects, put it aside untill you're familliar with these 3.

Clinical skills, you will only learn it in year 3 in russia. Certain medschools, 2nd year. So study hard and get thru the first 2 year first before talking about hospital trainings. The first 2 years is enough of getting you into sleepless nights already. Haha. Anyways! Wish you all the best in you journey to be a doctor, a very long way to go.

I know I know! I just try to plan it well! haha....then for biochemistry and physiology which book you will suggest? brows.gif

Biochem, Lippincots or Harpers biochemistry. Physiology, Guyton will be the most complete book. Ganong's review of physiology is also not bad. Anyways, these are only my recommendations. There are so many other books available, choose one which suits you.

And just another advice for you, planning for something ahead is obviously good but don't plan too far ahead yet. The time will definitely come, get your base strong before you proceed on to the clinical subjects. Basic sciences are one of the most important component in medicine in my opinion, it does help sometimes during differential diagnosis. Even postgrads examination does have abit of basic medical sciences.
*
yup!I will bear your advice in mind! biggrin.gif All the best senior!

So, he made his mind after all, that is interesting. I'm waiting for his reasons for choosing MMA.
*
Hi! Im back!I have receive the offer letter from MMA even though it is an "easy"offer letter but I still feel very happy. Its because,at least I still have the chance to fulfil my ambition. smile.gif
The reason that I choose russian medical school is:

1. I have financial problem and the agent can definitely help me to solve this problem.

2. MMA is one of the Medical school that the JPA scholars are sent(recognition should
be no problem).

4. The russian uni is the only medical school that I can afford and (reason1).

5. I know there are some negative news and corruption in russian uni,but
believe the attitude is the key of learning.(Not all the russian medical graduates are
incompetent)

6. From some senior experiences,If I dont have other better choice(financial problems)
and want to study in russia. They recommend me to go MMA.

I started to get as much information as possible about MMA and trying to aware and avoid some stupid and irresponsible behavior.Im sure,I will not become killer.
My determination and serious attitude will lead me to be a competent and good doctor.Im sure for that.

All the senior here, please guide me! tongue.gif

thanks! notworthy.gif
