use firmware finder to upgrade firmware, caused screen stucked at EMUI setting page, only can select wipe partition, factory reset and reboot. sent to service center today, and got a new replacement. well done huawei!

Mine also like this but I cant send it to the sc as I m not in malaysia. I did the restore myself u can also try to diy if they really insist that you need to pay for the repair. In order to do that u need your bootloader unlocked and I read it somewhere that u also need to enable your developer mode before you brick ur mate 8. If not you can also pay for dc unlocker - pheonix something. I can guide you if u need.
