this phone worth to buy compare to current mate 9?
*
both me and wife using mate 8 before.
3 month ago i upgraded to mate 9 and my wife still using mate 8.

for my perspective, who really into photography, yes its a wise choice you choose mate 9.
in term of usability and battery, both are likely same. just mate 9 display is better.

mate 8 camera front and back so poor compare to mate 9? mate 9 too expensive for me. sweat.gif  thanks for advice notworthy.gif

For front mate 8 is better. Mate 9 tend to over exposure for background.

For rear camera, mate 9 offer bokeh effect, and of cos sharpness is amazing. But if you not really into photography, mate 8 just fine.

Why not get the Malaysia version? I am unsure if the Malaysia model and the Chinese model uses the same firmware type. I do know that Mate 8 have different kind of firmware for different model. Malaysia Mate 8 model is NXT-L29.

Because can get it for cheaper price. Actually want to make it as backup phone.
